Voting today was not the uptick in voting Republicans needed. The total vote today was less GOP than yesterday; just GOP +5.
Republicans hold a 1.3% lead in votes cast, with a 9% turnout gap favoring Democrats. Compare this with 2024 and how red the electorate was then #flapol

I've said this to multiple reporters and operatives today
"Republicans are either gonna have the most apocalyptical red election day in living memory, or they just are not motivated to turn out at all"
OMG! This is real.

Obama tonight on his Cheesecake Factory line: "They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke. The White House even called the Secretary of the Treasury. This is the man who is in charge of the economy. The person who's supposed to be figuring out how to make your life more affordable. The guy who's supposed to be figuring out how to lower inflation. And reduce interest rates. They told him he should hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory."

Netanyahu and Eisenkot agree on Israel’s enemies. But they represent two radically different Israels.
Netanyahu’s: increasingly religious, dominated by the far right, subsidizing those who neither work nor serve.
Eisenkot’s: more inclusive, demanding shared obligations and the rule of law.
This election is about the very character of Israel.

Adam Hamilton on transgender rights:
“I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself.”
“I’m gonna love the trans person as well as the straight person, male or female. We have to do better than picking on small groups. What’s happened is we’ve turned a group of people into a campaign issue because it polls well.”

It's only 3:20 in Florida and the In Person Early Vote is just R+2. There's a small chance now that Dems can win today's IPEV.
I don't think even the biggest Dem coper could've imagined this was possible
