Maybe I don't know English as well as these people. But can someone tell me what stand she is taking? Which words exactly in the sentence condemn her husband? Also, Maryam currently has women with cancer in jail. So what fucking stand is she taking?
It takes real courage to take a public stand like this. More power to you, Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

So turns out, grand electoral theft, military takeover, abductions of Imran Khan, his family, and his party workers, and unprecedented levels of tyranny are not fuelling any fire. Instead, PTI’s social media team is fuelling all the fire, according to this article. Like I said, Pakistan’s entire journalism centres around victim blaming and dictator worshipping.
🚨🚨 The party’s verified X account on October 26 reproduced a statement attributed to its founder @ImranKhanPTI, in which he used very negative remarks about the top military leadership. The statement, however, was not a fresh message from the incarcerated former prime minister. It had originally been issued in 2025 and was reproduced by the party’s official social media account almost a year later, at a time when PTI was facing a series of political setbacks. When approached for a reaction, a senior PTI leader said: “It’s sad.” These posts, containing personal attacks, are shared without taking the party’s top leaders, including Chairman @BarristerGohar and Secretary General @salmanAraja, into confidence. “The move to revive the statement has raised questions about the purpose of its republication and whether the party’s official social media strategy is helping it secure political support or further narrowing the space for political engagement,” a #PTI leader wondered. thenews.pk/print/1446045-pti…

All these presstitutes came crawling out to applaud Maryam for this tweet but not one of them had the moral courage to ask her why Yasmin Rashid a 76 yr old cancer survivor still in jail? Why r IKs sisters, one of whom was hospitalised 2 days back, still in jail? Hypocrites

In any civilized country, this alone would be enough to put him and the army chief in jail for openly admitting to election rigging but this is a dead nation.

Didn't know Ahad saab would turn out to be this savage... This family is made of a different mettle... fearless & extraordinary. They arrest one, another steps up to give them a hard time. You can put the Niazis behind bars but you can never break or defeat them🔥

what kind of relationship do these two clowns have man…genuinely vile
Heartbreaking. 💔 The silent battles a woman, a wife, fights behind closed doors… The strength she must find even when she feels like breaking. Some battles are fought in silence, and some wounds are invisible. 💔

I have just returned from the Punjab Institute of Cardiology. Noreen Niazi's entire family, including her daughters, has been waiting outside the ICU for the last three days, yet not a single family member has been allowed to see her. Even more disturbing is that the family has not been informed about her medical condition. They have not been told what happened to her, what diagnosis has been made, what tests have been conducted, what the reports reveal, what treatment or medication has been prescribed or even what symptoms she is experiencing. The family is left waiting outside the ICU, completely in the dark about their mother's health. Meanwhile, approximately 25–30 policemen are deployed at the hospital. This complete lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable. Her daughters and family deserve to know about their mother's health, diagnosis, medical reports and treatment. They deserve answers

How’s the breathing space?
Imaan and Hadi are prisoners of conscience. Their convictions are cruel, vindictive, and textbook examples of using law and the judicial process as weapons of persecution

Still no visual confirmation of Noreen Niazi in the ICU. Pakistan government is putting pressure on Imran Khan by jailing his sister.
NOREEN KHAN NIAZI, a sister, a mother, and a grandmother, is in the ICU right now, with police stationed outside her room. Her family is just a few feet away, separated from her by a door that has been chained and locked. They cannot see her. They have no proper information about her condition. Not even the simple reassurance of seeing their mother with their own eyes. What exactly are the authorities so afraid of? A daughter holding her mother’s hand? I cannot help thinking of my own mother. If she were lying in a hospital bed, sick and frightened, all she would want is to see the faces of those who love her. To hold someone’s hand. To know she isn’t alone. That is what breaks my heart about Rani Apa. Her children are right there, close enough to know she is inside, yet unable to reach her. She poses no danger to anyone. Keeping a sick mother from her children is cruel. Please, let her daughters see their mother. Let her know she is not alone. #NoreenKhanHealthEmergency #شوکت_خانم_کی_شیر_اولاد #FreeImranKhanAndFamily

PTI are cultists and trolls who know nothing about people centred politics or organising. Never mind the fact that their entire party got banned, they developed apps and tools to navigate thousands of election symbols and managed to mobilise uneducated masses across the country.
Replying to @AroojAurangzaib

Spot on. Funding this regime means supporting the murder of peaceful protestors, the imprisonment of innocent civilians and the complete and utter disregard for democracy. Speak out or forever regret being on the dark side of history. @Ed_Miliband @andyburnham @realDonaldTrump
No one has seen or heard from my father since August, when he explicitly said that he was being tortured and that the regime was trying to kill him like Egypt’s government did Morsi. The UN Special Rapporteur on torture has repeatedly stated that his treatment amounts to torture. Pakistan’s fascist regime, led by military dictator Asim Munir, continue to ignore the Supreme Court order from August for my father to be assessed and treated at the private Shifa International Hospital, as well as for regular access to family visits and access to his lawyers. It is clear that they are trying to kill him as he is by far the most popular political figure in the country, and they fear him. If the worst happens, no one should make any mistake who is responsible. It is Asim Munir with the approval of the illegitimate Pakistani government. Every government that continues to legitimise this regime will be complicit in this and the resulting chaos and destabilisation it causes in the region. No state that is engaging in friendly relations with this fascist Pakistani regime can truly claim to uphold the values of democracy or human rights.

If he’s safe as you claim, why is the regime ignoring the Supreme Court’s order to have him assessed in a private hospital (Shifa International), rather than by stooges at a government facility? Why haven’t they allowed anyone to see him since August? Even murderers are granted these most basic of rights in prison. They’re clearly hiding something, as they could easily dispel people’s concerns if their claims that we are lying are true. Remember, when PTI was in power, Nawaz Sharif, who, unlike my father, is genuinely corrupt - as proven by the Panama Papers - was allowed to travel to London for medical reasons while serving his prison sentence and remained there, living in luxury for 4 years. Yet these fascists fear my father so much that they won’t even allow him a visit from his own doctors or an assessment at a private hospital IN Pakistan, as ordered by the highest court in the country. Why are you so desperate to cheerlead for a fascist regime?
1- Your father is safe 2- Thank God Almighty we are not hearing (incoherent rants) from him 3- It was not Asim Munir, but Bajwa under whom your father was ousted 4- The ppl of Pakistan need respite from your father’s crazy verbal diarrhea. We are trying to heal as a nation so take one for the team, please.

Imran Khan’s sister Noreen Niazi taken from jail to the hospital in Pakistan. Deeply concerning. The military government has been detaining the 70-year-old woman to put pressure on her brother.
70-year-old Noreen Niazi was taken from Kot Lakhpat Jail to a cardiac hospital under police guard, without her family or physician even being informed. A mother whose son, Hassan Niazi, has been behind bars for over three years. A sister whose brother, Imran Khan, is in solitary confinement. And now she herself is a prisoner, fighting her own health battles. A woman with no known history of high blood pressure like her brother is suddenly in a cardiac ward. Her daughters are being denied the chance to see their own mother. What is happening to her in custody? Why is her family being kept in the dark? Why can’t her family, daughters be by her side? How much more must this mother, this sister, this family endure? How much more must they sacrifice? Whatever your politics, she is a 70-year-old woman, a mother, a sister, and a human being. She deserves proper medical care, dignity, compassion, and the comfort of her children beside her. Seems like we have really lost every last shred of humanity? #خان_اور_فیملی_کو_رہا_کرو #شوکت_خانم_کی_شیر_اولاد #FreeImranKhanAndFamily

They killed a 13 year old child on the streets. It really boils my blood when someone says "nobody is protesting". Your regime is literally killing people on the streets. Pakistan is not comparable to India, Serbia, Brazil etc. Their military is not killing people.
My latest investigation is out. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a 13 y/o died days after being shot during protests against the removal of PTI’s provincial government. Our reporting investigates the human toll & examines the consequences for democracy amid a virtual media blackout there.
