Imagine the backlash there would be if the musician who won best album at the Grammys got to the microphone and said they aren’t paid enough by the industry to afford children.
Sean Baker did exactly that at the Oscars a year ago and nothing happened.

One day I wanna have a conversation about how black lead/directed film, need to stop doing marketing in New York & LA because that is no longer where their audience is. If you’re a black film and you wanna make money, you need to go to the American South.
