It is time to take the fight to the people Oregonians rejected the transportation tax hikes - and on Tuesday returned to power the very politicians who passed them. There’s a lesson in that: a vote for a politician is not an endorsement of every policy they support. On a clear question, Oregonians can agree across party lines—even when they disagree about candidates. That’s why taking reforms directly to the people can succeed where elections leave us stuck. We’ve already done it. Now we need to build on it. That’s why we’re building Oregon Freedom Coalition. Our goal is to build the largest grassroots movement in Oregon history - to push back against a legislature that acts against the people’s interests and put power back in their hands. We’ll bring practical reforms to Salem and give legislators the chance to act. If they refuse, we’ll organize to take those reforms directly to the people. Challenge harmful laws. Advance better ones. Build an organization that stays ready after the ballots are counted. I chose Oregon to raise my family and build my business. This is home. I’m not giving up on it. Stay in this with me. Become an OFC member: oregonfreedom.com/join Read my full letter, “Take the Fight to the People”: eddiehl.com/take-the-fight-t…

This is our path forward, folks. Join me and thousands of other Oregonians to become the grassroots machine against Dem supermajority Salem.
40+ years of failed progressive experimentation has left our beautiful state in decay. Enough is enough. Join Oregon Freedom Coalition as we work together to build a better Oregon: strong, united, and free. OregonFreedom.com

Daimler closes truck manufacturing plant in north Portland; Lays off 375 workers. A truck manufacturing plant in northwest Portland closed for good on Friday, laying off almost 400 workers. Daimler Truck North America made the announcement in July, saying 375 positions would be eliminated. In July, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers union issued a statement in response: “Our employer’s decision to leave the Portland area does not remove the heart and soul that our members have put into their work at Daimler. And the IAM will support and fight for our members regardless of any decision their employer makes.” Daimler Truck will shut Portland factory, lay off 375 and move production to the East Coast River point medical going to announce next week moving 200 jobs from district 2 to Clark county. $175k avg salary. We just lost 575 jobs and $115M+ annually in wages in portland. Unfortunately, that's only part of the story. When you include local suppliers, Daimler's decision will wipe out more than 1,200 Living Wage jobs. And that's just the beginning. Every lost job means less spending in local shops, cafés, restaurants, and services, putting even more small businesses and jobs at risk. This isn't an isolated setback—it's the predictable outcome of years of anti-business policies from the DSA government that have made Portland a less attractive place to invest, expand, and create high-quality jobs. Investment goes where it's welcome, and right now Portland is sending the opposite message. The government needs to change direction immediately. If it doesn't, the economic doom loop of lost investment, lost jobs, and declining local economies will only accelerate—and it will become far harder to reverse. This due to high crime, high taxes, failing schools, high Utilty cost and anti business City and State. Blazers are next. DSA can’t defend their failed policies that are destroying quality of life in Portland and growing poverty and misery for all Portlanders. At least foie gras is banned! @MayorKWilson @mitch4portland @pnwpolicyangel @PortlandDSA @TeacherTiff4PDX @GovTinaKotek kptv.com/2026/10/30/daimler-…

You can’t trust a governor whose solution to a $400 million problem was a $15 billion tax on Oregonians. Higher taxes are not the solution. New leadership is.

This is a turnout election. In 2022 we left 120,000 Republican ballots on kitchen tables. We lost the governor’s race by less than 70,000 votes and House and Senate seats by just a few hundred. We are not doing that again. GOTVOregon.com is building a 1,000-volunteer army to chase ballots the final weekend—Oct 31 through Nov 2. Knock doors, make calls, send texts, remind people to return their ballots. Two hours is the minimum. No experience needed. Sign up: GOTVOregon.com Two hours. One election. Let’s bring the votes home and save Oregon.

Just a few things to remember when you see a DSA-endorsed candidate. These points are taken from their own endorsement requirements.

Millions spent. But how much is reaching the people who need help? Oregon continues to pour public dollars into homelessness programs, yet serious questions remain about accountability, results, and whether resources are reaching those most in need. At Cascade, we believe success should be measured by outcomes—not the size of the budget. More spending isn't the same as more solutions. Oregonians deserve to know: Where is the money going, and what results are we getting?

So the first "idea" the socialists have for next year's legislative session is increase revenue. And how does a government generate most of its revenue? Taxes. Oregon already nears the top of the US in tax burden. We may be #1 soon! Be sure to thank a socialist. 🤦‍♂️

Tina Kotek said that we must vote for her and stay the course, that if Christine Drazen is elected, she'll reverse all the progress that's been made for Oregon under her guidance. That's practically an endorsement of Christine Drazen since all the "progress" Kotek has made in every single area has been in the wrong direction. Even 44% of Oregon Democrats say Oregon is going in the wrong direction in a recent poll, as a matter of fact. Did she really think that "stay the course" was an effective message?

So true. I have seen this first hand being in the legislature for the past 10 years: CAT Increase Tobacco Tax Create New Nicotine Tax Ag Overtime Clean Fuels Program 100% Clean to Energy Mandates Unemployment for striking workers Gas tax increase Predictive Scheduling Healthcare taxes Insurance taxes…
Tina Kotek refuses to acknowledge the truth that she has been the primary driver of cost increases for Oregon families across our state.

How am I not surprised that Oregon ranked #48 on this latest report on education? These are not issues you solve with more funding. You solve this by voting. Vote for candidates who support academic rigor, parental rights, and evidence over ideology.
‼️NEW REPORT: We scored and ranked all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia on five categories: gender and sexuality, “diversity, equity, and inclusion”, parental rights, teacher policies, and foreign influence.
