I have seen expert reports for both prosecution & defence for some Letby babies. This diametrically opposed expert evidence needs to be considered by the court of appeal, as the jury only heard a fraction of it. To me, the defence reports make more sense & are far more plausible.

This would only include attendance at trial. The pre-trial expert witness reports would be paid from the Cheshire Police budget. Some information is available on the Cheshire PCC website but it's hard to get the full picture. cheshire-pcc.gov.uk/transpar…

Apparently because she wrote "CPAP" in the notes means she attacked the baby's liver..?
No one even knows what the prosecution claim even was for this baby!
Fruit is rated number one but "added unsaturated fat" also scores quite highly. Particularly in "intact physical function". I've not read it closely enough to see if that's a reference to joint health, arthritis or what ....

It is an interesting and, as yet to my knowledge, completely overlooked issue that, now 3 years after #LucyLetby's conviction, the hugely experienced local Consultant Perinatal Pathologists, whose original PMs were discounted, dismissed and completely over-ruled by Evans and...

Every baby has more logical & clinical reasons for collapse or sad death. All but one had an autopsy, the one due to consultant incompetence. All babies were found to have died of natural causes by expert neonatal pathologists, agreed by the coroner. #lucyletby harmed no babies.

Wow... that's SO not how discovery rules work
The prosecution don't get to decide what will assist... they are called to give everything collected as part of the investigation INCLUDING and ESPECIALLY anything that might be exculpatory

These disclosures can hardly come as any real surprise. The decision was, as I have always said, a complete and utter travesty and undermines what the #LucyLetby Trial Jury were told regarding the risk status of many of the indictment cases. The babies were NOT well and stable.
Safety in numbers: John Gibbs said #luctletby was wrong, it wasn’t a Gang of Four, it was a Gang of Seven that suspected her of murder. Stephen Brearey said the Gang of Seven created strength to take on the managers. But was ganging up on her strength or cowardice?

When they lie, falsify medical records & cover up, it destroys our family life, as we have to fight for truth, justice, accountability & learning.

All this to say: you are 100% correct that this undermines the Baby K case.
Don't take it from me. That was the conclusion of the Special Crime Division of the Crown Prosecution Service.
Day 40 of the trial of Lucy Letby, as far as I can tell Professor Sally Kinsey introduces the concept of 'paradoxical' air embolism. Allegedly she would later turn ghostly white when she found out that "Jayaram's rash" was never recorded in his notes.

Not only did he fight the IRA in Northern Ireland as a member of the Irish guards as a youngster he managed to do it 20 years before all the other Irish guards too!🏆
TBT. The wise, late appeal court judge William Davis casts doubts over the legitimacy of Dr Ravi Jayaram's testimony. It remains to be seen if the CCRC and future appeal court will extend these doubts to lurid descriptions of stunning pink rashes.

I think Ravi ("pique their interest") Jayaram had a vague recollection of Baby K.
It was never raised during the HR grievance.
Post HR verdict the memory was upgraded to the point that it gave him "nightmares forever".

If one were to give Dr Brearey a taste of his own stats medicine. Ignore the issues with discrepant notes and lack of coroner reporting . To what extent can the procedure be justified as medically indicated ... then there's the reckless manner of execution

I interviewed @legalmarkmc for @NineteenNu45407 about how Lucy Letby is doing and what he might say to reassure nurses who worry they might be falsely accused after Thirlwall.
