The Coup happened on 1/20/21. When 25000 armed troops in masks and no identification on their uniforms locked down DC tighter than the Green Zone and took our 1st Amendment right to attend "The Inauguration" in protest... because a 4 hour riot happened elsewhere 2 weeks prior.

What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people. The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

For nearly 1,500 years, a 180-foot (55-meter) Buddha stood carved into a cliff in Afghanistan. In March 2001, the Taliban destroyed it. The Great Buddha of Bamiyan was carved in the early 7th century along the ancient Silk Road. It was one of two colossal standing Buddhas surrounded by Buddhist monasteries, shrines, and painted caves. Both statues were destroyed in 2001. Today, their enormous empty niches remain, showing the scale of what was lost. The Bamiyan Valley was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003.
