Maybe you hate the Iranian “regime” so much that you’d be glad to see it collapse, even if it means the end of Iranian sovereignty and a terrible blow for the forces of Palestinian liberation (not to mention the mass murder of thousands of civilians, the vast destruction of civilian infrastructure, and generally making life miserable for a population of 94 million). But are you willing to accept the impact on your own life and that of your friends and family? Crude oil prices have already doubled from $60 to $120 per barrel. Soon they’ll hit $150, then $200. Gas prices are going in the same direction. This is already driving inflation and a return to the cost-of-living crisis. It will mean thousands of vulnerable people literally dying because they can’t afford to heat their homes. It will mean factories, shops, restaurants closing down because the energy bills are too high. It will burst the AI bubble, which is deeply reliant on enormous data centres, which in turn are deeply reliant on electricity generation. This criminal war does not serve you; it impoverishes you. It provides a temporary boost for the US military-industrial complex and its fracking industry. It’s an attempt to get rid of a resistant state, and to subvert China’s rise and the multipolar trajectory. It’s an attempt to wipe out all opposition to Israeli genocide, apartheid and expansion in West Asia. Stop the war. Stand with Iran.

I'm glad I don't live in the UK as it appears that there is a clique of around 40 "professional activists" who are sanctioned from above (not god) to get involved in an "organising" role in every political action and make sure they are not really a decent grass roots outfits.

There were no rapes, no beheaded babies on October 7. There was a resistance operation targeting a barbaric colonial occupier, and the occupier responded by killing hundreds of its own people that day. Why does this still outrage Western barbarism more than the holocaust being perpetrated in revenge by the psychotic racist colonizers? Western savagery and its evil Zionist extension can never tolerate those they deem inferior rising up to liberate themselves from such cruel, racist tyranny.
Breaking | 70 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip since dawn today, including 9 aid seekers.

In his (utterly tedious) interview with that ludicrous media goblin Owen Jones, Corbyn stated that he would be attending a counter protest against the reactionary mobilisations by Reform supporters and others against migrant hotels. This is a case where both sides of the bourgeois political divide are playing a game. The right wingers mobilise the pissed off working class on the false basis of racism and the left wingers engage in a knee jerk response that just points back shouts "racist" at the other side. The ruling class stand in the background and laugh their arses off at both "sides" of this farce. What an actual class based politics should do is point out the source of the problem when it comes to housing. The right wingers are totally wrong when they accuse migrants of having an easy time because being stuck in a hotel room for months on end is a miserable and depressing experience. It isn't just migrants who are stuck in these hotels either, its homeless people, addicts and people with mental health issues. You put a bunch of vulnerable people in rotten accommodation and what happens? Predators emerge in the form of drug dealers, pimps and other forms of organised crime who seek to prey on those in the hotels. Keeping people in this situation is intolerable and it must be brought to an end. The reactionaries have no solution to this because they are being organised by people with no interests in finding one. To actually resolve the situation would require the mass building of public housing in order to not just resolve the housing of migrants but to address the problem of homelessness and the wider housing shortage. No one should be left in a hotel for weeks or months on end, no matter who they are. To resolve this though would take ending the artificially created housing shortage and that would mean bursting the house price bubble. If such a programme were to be put forward and properly articulated it would cut the ground out from under the feet of Reform and the other reactionaries. Corbyn and co won't do that though because if you look to end the housing shortage it would challenge some big ruling class interests who profit from the housing shortage. Instead Corbyn will join the leftists in another bout of useless moralising where they end up defending the usage of hotels to stash migrants in just because the right is attacking it at the moment. Everyone involved in this is getting played whether they are on the right or the left. You are all getting duped by conmen like Farage and Corbyn into fighting each other uselessly whilst the City of London continues to rip all of us off.

Gruesome genocidaire Sir Kid Starver @Keir_Starmer uses recognition of an imaginary Palestinian state as a threat and bargaining chip towards genocidal Israel. It’s never about Palestinian rights. Empty gestures instead of action
My statement on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and our plan for peace including the recognition of a Palestinian State.

I haven’t heard a single Palestinian anywhere saying that what they want from the “Western” genocide regimes that arm and support “Israel’s” extermination of Palestinians is their recognition of a nonexistent Palestinian state ruled by traitors in Ramallah. Not one.

Keir Starmer, David Lammy, Peter Kyle & their entire cabinet of soulless, heartless ghouls are drenched in Palestinian blood. No words can express how duplicitous & vile their actions have been throughout this genocide & continue to be despite their cynical change in tone now.

Gary @garyseconomics tells Andrew Marr (well known socialist 🤣) that the billionaire elite are accumulating all the wealth. And he knows because he was a city banker and is a multi-millionaire (small fry economically, but a wealthy trader). 1. So what needs to be done? Gary says: Tax the rich. 2. Has it ever been done before? Gary says: only once, after WW2. “The 20th century” Well. There are a couple of problems. Apart from the fact that half of the 20th century happened, before WW2… Lets start with his second point. WW2 wasn’t fought “to tax the rich”. It was fought because monopoly capitalism had become enmeshed in a global crisis of overproduction. It had impoverished the mass of humanity. It had glutted markets and entered a protracted crisis resulting in poverty, tariff wars, inflation, mass unemployment, the great depression, a collapse in world trade and a fierce battle between the imperialist powers for markets, colonies, and resources. WW2 was fought to destroy 60 million “surplus” workers and destroy the accumulated unsalable goods, and to SAVE the very very rich. And guess what? They are at it again. Because they are in the same crisis again! As for point 1. - The “transfer of wealth” from rich to poor was never effected by “Taxation” under capitalism alone. The transfer from rich to poor during the 20th century happened due to revolutionary overthrow of the billionaire feudal and capitalist ruling class in sphere after sphere and nation after nation. It was effected by the revolutionary overthrow of Tsarism and capitalism in Russia and the Soviet Union, Belorussia, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenstan, Kyrgistan,… and after WW2 by the revolutionary and anti-colonial movements in China, Vietnam, Korea, East Germany, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Albania, latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Laos, Cuba,… By the anti-colonial and “non-aligned” movements, allowing scores of “third world” colonial nations to gain sovereignty and pull themselves out of poverty. British and American capital did not simply adopt Keynes (the welfare state) for fun. They did it out of fear of their revolutionary overthrow. And now, forgetting or being ignorant of this, our little East end boy Gary - boy done good: city trader and multi-millionaire - simply asks the rich to accept “taxes” out of the goodness of their hearts. Taxes that to be effective will have to be so high as to amount to expropriation. But the billionaire global capitalist ruling class have spent the last 80 years waging war on socialism and the poor precisely to get where we are. Untold genocides and dirty wars against the workers, against communist and socialist states, against independent nations, for re-colonisation have led us here. Who the bloody hell is this “Gary” to ask for redress? A servant of capital who is “good at maths”?! 🤣 He can, frankly, keep his “economics”! So what is Gary’s sudden fame really all about? The fact that he is totally ignorant of political economy. Ignorant of Marx. Ignorant of the revolutionary teachings of the actual working-class movement (and talks like a cockney: is anyone buying this pearly king and queen act?!) Well - what he is actually doing, is asking the POOR to sit tight and keep begging. When what they need to do is rise, organise, demand and expropriate the capitalist parasites. Taxation will not solve the ills of capitalism. Revolutionary overthrow of the capitalist class and expropriation of the land, banks, hedge-funds, housing stock, factories, etc., etc. will. Ignore this ignorant clown. Join us.

This is not business as usual. My new UN report, From Economy of Occupation to Economy of Genocide, is out today. It shows how corporations have fueled and legitimised the destruction of Palestine. Genocide, it would seem, is profitable. This cannot continue, accountability must follow. ohchr.org/sites/default/file… #EconomyofOccupation #EconomyofGenocide

One of the most chilling moments of the committee stage was when Gordon remarked, with a slight smile, that “There’s something quite British in feeling a bit like a burden,” then voted against an amendment to prevent people receiving lethal drugs because that’s how they feel:
Today I voted for the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. As a new MP, being part of this process has been incredibly emotional and at times overwhelming. It was a privilege to sit on the Bill Committee and hear the powerful evidence that shaped this legislation. 1/4

Trotskyism is the smug, hollow socialism of pampered academics. Stalinism? That’s the socialism of the janitor, the factory worker, the farmer; the people who actually bled for something real. Modern Trotskyists are some of the most arrogant, self-righteous frauds alive. They sneer at everyone from their ivory towers, dripping with condescension. In their deluded minds, legends like Ho Chi Minh, Che Guevara, and Mao were clueless about Marx and Lenin; because apparently only they, the self-anointed gatekeepers of “true” Marxism, have the answers. It's not just arrogant ! it's cultish, pathetic, and insulting to every revolutionary who ever put their life on the line.
why are people so against trotsky i genuinely don't get it

The participation of the AFU in the British parade to mark VE day proved less than glorious! The royal box and british imperial media were in raptures - pumping out the propaganda that very studiously ignores 1. The Russians: 27 million Soviet citizens who gave their lives to vanquish fascism 2. That George V (great grand pa-pa) was a staunch fascist, and even taught grandma and great aunt the Nazi salute 3. That the ukrainian regime are banderites. Acual Nazis. And have been installed by US-UK imperialism to fight a race war in ukraine to turn Ukraine into a tool to hammer Russia. But the Ukrainian people are the chief victims. And have lost 1 - 1.5 MILLION soldiers fighting Neo-Nazi M NATO’s imperialist war. So the much-hyped participation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory over NAZI german imperialism turned out to be weak in every sense. Only eleven select representatives of the Ukrainian army, who did not arouse suspicion by wanting to escape, were allowed to participate in the parade. In addition, the British placed their Ukrainian proxies behind their cavalry. So, the soldiers had to walk through the waste products of British horses. They were left well and truly “in the shit”. A good allegory for the state of their nation. Perhaps that is what tickled the fancy of our right royal parasites.

Our comrade Rick sat through @Keir_Starmer’s favourite TV show #Adolescence, and was rightly repulsed. This @Netflix mini-series is yet another liberal production engineered to erase class from the narrative. classconsciousnessproject.bl… It tells working-class people that the solution to crisis is surveillance, incarceration, and psychiatric labels. Read and share because this isn’t art, it’s ideological conditioning.
