Tone deaf... among many of personal issues...
Brutal comments online in response to Gayle Benson’s letter to Saints fans:

Saints and Pels fans are in hell and we're talking about horses again. By all means let's use tax money to bring in an event that only appeals to a few dozen millionaires and degenerate gamblers over the age of 60.
The idea I’ve heard bandied about re: Breeders Cup in NOLA is to have it on a weekend that would also feature Pelicans and/or Saints games. You’d have BC on Friday, Pels game on Friday night, BC on Saturday and then a Saints game on Sunday. Would be a huge draw in a way that traditional BC sites can’t match or haven’t in the past.

Last two communications from Gayle Benson aren’t necessarily incongruent, but they are very different in tone. No idea how the last two games would change the temperature, but loss seems waved away in latest statement.

No wonder Mickey Loomis and Kellen Moore have been so easygoing. Gayle Benson wrote a tone-deaf letter to fans downplaying a loss in Paris: ‘While the outcome on the field was not what we had hoped for, we have much to be proud of from our time together’

Here is the Democrat plan to steal the election & the country - Sen Markey lays it out gleefully. When he speaks like this, it means this plan is already in motion. They have prepped the battlespace for a massive show of people on the streets to support their false narrative that Pres Trump is “desperate” & to prevent him from using any levers of power that he has, they are getting ahead of him & accusing him of an “election crime” when they will be the ones committing the crime.
Note how he says they have “lawyers” who have already drafted legal challenges & their plan is to use the show of force on the streets to pressure th Supreme Court justices to capitulate & rule in ther favor. If I was a betting man, I would bet that means they already have enough buy in from some of the justices (but not all) to be able to make that claim. Most notably, they are trying to separate Republicans from Trump, which means from the people of the United States. He offers Republicans a way out - which is really a veiled threat: come with us, abandon Trump & you will be good. That is the message here.
This is what an actual insurrection looks like - a real one. They have no intention of letting Pres Trump finish out his term. This is a plan for a total takeover. And if they didn’t already have some Republicans on board, they would not be making this offer publicly.
So there you have it - this is how they plan to screw the President & the people of this country. And all those eating their own side alive every day are playing right into their hands.
Well done to all. If you believe in the Republic, you are about to lose it. God help us.
Markey Reveals Color Revolution Plan: Unions & Workers to Shut Down Nation?
Senator Markey must have participated in the organized Ed Holder Election War Game Exercises.
In a interview conducted today, Senator Ed Markey stated that lawyers were already drafting an emergency case to bring before the U.S.
Supreme Court both before and immediately after the election. He added that thousands of lawyers were being prepared for deployment to key polling stations across multiple states.
Markey further said preparations needed to include readiness for a national strike on Election Day, with millions of people taking to the streets to protest what he described as an attempted electoral crime. He specifically called for workers, unions, and businesses to shut down in a manner similar to the response in Minneapolis following the deaths of Alex Freddi and Renee Goode.
Markey argued that the president was growing increasingly desperate because Republican fortunes had slipped, citing repeated visits to Texas to protect an otherwise safe Senate seat and campaigning in historically safe Republican states such as Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa.
The Senator predicted that an anticipated large Democratic victory would prompt some Republicans in the House and Senate to distance themselves from the MAGA agenda rather than become “sacrificial lambs.”
Markey expressed concern that desperation could lead to the deployment of ICE agents or the military, and he said the public mobilization would demonstrate outrage to the Supreme Court if an emergency petition were filed.
This is why voters must choose common sense candidates in this midterm cycle. The modern Jacobins are out for blood, and only a decisive choice at the ballot box can save our republic.

The Breeders Cup is a prestigious global event. It attracts some of the richest people in the world. In terms of demographics, it’s like a major golf tournament on steroids. WWE & the Hondo Rodeo are nice events, but the patrons at Breeders Cup are a different crowd. Major $$$.

There are two recent economic studies on the effect of The Breeder’s Cup on the local area. One from the event in Del Mar in 2025 and the other from Keeneland in 2022. Neither is “independent”.
The headline number is mostly air. Del Mar's 2025 study claimed a $125 million impact. Actual visitor spending was $38.7 million. The other $86 million is a multiplier. So it is an assumption that claims “ripple effects.”
Furthermore, the handle (amount wagered at the track) is considered on track spending in the Keeneland report. It is pari-mutual wagering. Most of it is paid back to bettors. Just passing around the same $20 bill has no economic impact.
They count gross spending, not net. A local family that spends $300 at the track instead of at a restaurant on Magazine Street. That isn't new money. It just moved. The studies count it regardless. And it doesn’t subtract out the costs of people who were displaced or inconvenienced by the event.
They count the upgrades as a benefit. Keeneland's study booked $10 million in track improvements as "economic impact." Here, that's the money they want the state to pay. They are sticking us with the bill and calling it a return.
Even the Breeders' Cup's own favorite study puts state and local tax revenue at $7.6 million. That's at a track that didn't need tens of thousands of temporary seats. Louisiana put up $7.2 million for a LIV tournament that never happened.
Do the math.
Keeneland, the Breeders' Cup's most praised host, is a Lexington nonprofit that puts its money back into the track and the community. The Fair Grounds' owner answers to shareholders in Louisville. Same event, very different answer to "who keeps the money."

This is worth a read as Gayle Benson pushes to bring the Breeders' Cup to New Orleans. The economic studies used to sell the event make the payoff look much bigger than it really is. In the end, Louisiana taxpayers could be footing the bill for a private company's gain.

Arsenal just lost to Fleetwood Town in the EFL Cup.
Arsenal’s roster: $1.5 BILLION
Fleetwood Town’s roster: $3 million
Fleetwood is currently 18th in the 4th level of English soccer.
Possibly the biggest upset in English soccer history.

Is Sean McDermott or Mike Tomlin or Brian Flores an improvement over what the Saints have now? Unquestionably. And if Loomis is not fired, it is the shortest path to having a fun, watchable team.
But if you really want to win and by win I mean get back to 2006-11 type winning then you have to hire an innovative, outside the Saints ecosphere GM (Brian Hampton/Adam Berry) who will change the organization’s processes (stop running the team like it is 1975) and pair him with a McVay/Shanahan type play caller who will maximize Shough.
That is literally the only way to sustained success. Everything else is window dressing.

The shoes are legal. The name on the side of them is not.
Caleb Williams went out and bought a pair of cleats with his own money, from a company he has no deal with and makes nothing from, because of what is underneath them.
They are made by a company called Caddix, and the part that matters is the studs. The founder, Jack Rasmussen, says they are built to release under what he calls injurious load.
In plain words, the stud is supposed to let go of the grass before your knee does.
That is aimed squarely at the injury that ends careers without anybody touching you. A man plants a foot, changes direction, and the foot stays while the rest of him turns.
Caddix says on its own website that the shoes are designed to reduce the rotational force on the knees and ankles.
So the quarterback of the Chicago Bears, the first overall pick in 2024, bought them himself and wore them against the Atlanta Falcons.
The NFL fined him 11,941 dollars.
Not for the cleats. The cleats are fine.
He did not cover up the Caddix name on the outside of them, and league rules only let a player show a logo belonging to a company the NFL has a marketing deal with. Nike. Adidas. Under Armour.
Then he wore them again the next week against New England without covering them.
A second offense is 23,882 dollars, which is exactly double the first one. The league has not said yet whether that one is coming.
So the rule is not about his knees. It is about whose name is allowed to be seen on a football field, and the answer is the names that pay for it.
Caddix says it will cover the fine, and any more of them.
Now be straight about the other side of this, because it is the whole reason you are reading about a shoe company you had never heard of yesterday.
Caddix just got more attention from one fine than it could have bought. The company is new. The injury claims about those studs come from the people selling them, not from the league and not from a medical journal, and I cannot find anybody independent who has gone and tested them.
Offering to pay the fine of a quarterback you have no contract with is a very good day at work for whoever runs their marketing.
Both of those things can be true.
The company is getting a windfall out of this. And a 24 year old is still paying out of pocket for equipment he believes keeps him on the field, and getting charged almost twelve thousand dollars for the crime of leaving the name visible.
He has not stopped wearing them.
Ellen is in over his head! It's obvious for everyone except Gayle and Mickey! Continue sucking ass @Saints ... My entire neighborhood ridicules me every game day when I put up my pennants and flags! And Gayle is the laughing stock of ownership right now!
Revealing comment from #Steelers LB Elandon Roberts. Noticed on film Saints QB Tyler Shough wasn't making checks himself - HC Kellen Moore relayed them in.
So Steelers defense stayed static until < 15 seconds when playcallers can't talk to QB. Two examples of it below. First one, Patrick Queen runs into A-gap w/ 14 seconds and Saints run right into him.
