Now Malaysia is adopting Starlink and small-cell technology to help achieve its target of 100% coverage across populated areas
Here's the plan:
• RM5 BILLION allocated to JENDELA over several years
• Starlink connectivity for remote communities where traditional towers aren't economically practical
• Small cells for smaller settlements with just 40–50 residents
• Expanded coverage along roads connecting FELDA settlements to towns
• A nationwide goal of reaching 100% internet coverage in populated areas
Starlink offers a much faster way to bring modern connectivity to communities that traditional infrastructure has struggled to reach
Another important step toward making sure even the most remote communities aren't left behind
