There never was a famine.
And since when does Canada stand with the invaders? Did Canada stand with Germany? With Japan?
Protester at the weekly anti-Israel rally plays a recording of incumbent Mayor Olivia Chow’s speech at the National Council of Canadian Muslims’ fundraising gala on November 1, 2025, in which she stated, “The genocide in Gaza affects us all.”

Nicely done, province of British Columbia voters. You’re next, city of #Toronto voters. Please.
This is on my Substack reading list for this evening 👇👇👇
Recently some people have decided that it’s ok for them to spread political messages at concerts and other public venues
Here are my thoughts about that:

Gooooooooooo and get this done!!! Election is tomorrow and we need change!!!! @BradMBradford
Toronto, we have two days left to vote for change.
Thank you to my friend and former Deputy Mayor of Toronto @mckelvieAJAX for backing our plan to get Toronto moving, keep taxes down and make our streets safer.
Now, let’s finish strong. Get your friends, family and everyone you know out to vote on Monday.

Mandy Patinkin is as rotten as they come. Another “As a Jew” Jew. We see you, Mandy, and we will never forgive your betrayal.
Help get @abdulelsayed elected to the senate! Jewish safety depends on a real multiracial democracy—and Abdul is the one fighting to protect it.

We know how much it matters to live in a country where our rights are protected, where the law applies equally to everyone, and where the majority can’t just decide that some people don’t deserve the same freedoms. The safety and freedom we’ve found in America didn’t happen by accident. They exist because of democracy. And protecting democracy means protecting Jewish safety, too.
We know what happens when those protections start to break down. When courts are weakened, elections are undermined, and people lose equal protection under the law, minorities are often the first to pay the price. Jews have seen this throughout our history. It’s one of the reasons so many of our families sought refuge in democratic countries.
That’s why I find it so alarming to see what’s happening right now. When masked government agents are taking people off the streets and citizens are being shot in public, we should all be worried about where things are headed. As Jews, we know that when a government starts targeting certain groups of people, no one should assume they’re safe from what comes next.
Mike Rogers has chosen to align himself with a movement that is willing to attack our democracy. He stood with Trump and refused to accept the results of the 2020 election. And now we’re seeing what happens when a political movement treats the rights and dignity of certain people as disposable. For Jews, these things should set off alarm bells.
Jewish safety is tied to the health of our democracy. We can’t protect one without protecting the other. And in this Senate race, Abdul is the candidate who understands that and is willing to fight for it.

Great article @SueAnnLevy exposing the toxic unprogressive totalitarian communist group @progresstoronto which backs so many failed ideological municipal politicians in Toronto.
@nathenmazri is a breath of fresh air and the kind of elected official we need on city council. Good luck, Nathen! I hope you have the opportunity to clear the rats and garbage out of Etobicoke as well as accomplishing other important community projects to better the lives of the constituents.
Progress Toronto is destructive, anti-Semitic and their incestuous relationship with Olivia Chow hastened the city’s decline.

Liberal Jews who reference Tikkun Olam deliberately misrepresent "Heal the world" as meaning "Sacrifice the Jewish People at the altar of the anti-Semitic Democrat agenda". This pseudo Hebrew scorns the "veiled excuses" of Jewish Democrats who fail to back her favorite jihadist.
This Jewish Democrat is talking about the importance of voting for Dr Abdul El-Sayed not just as a Jewish woman but as a woman who wants the right to make decisions about her body freely.
She speaks about equitable housing practices, basic rights to healthcare and food, which will be denied because of Mike Rogers and his policies.

68 Jewish-American educators wanted to visit Italy to learn about early-childhood education.
Instead, they found themselves caught up in demands to distance themselves from Israeli government policy.
Why should American Jewish teachers have to answer for a foreign government before attending an educational programme?
At what point did this become acceptable?
68 Jewish-American teachers and educators were supposed to leave for Italy last weekend on a visit to a world-renowned city for early childhood education. That was until they were told to sign statements condemning the Israeli occupation in Gaza. What does this have to do with early childhood education? Nothing, they say.
So they sadly canceled their trip. To make another kind of statement- one about antisemitism. Now the mayor of that city is doing damage control.
Here’s their report…

Olivia Chow's real problem is her brutal track record.
61% say the city is a worse place to live than 4 years ago.
83% increase in home invasions.
23% increase assault causing bodily harm.
21% increase in robbery with a weapon.
It's time for change.

I’m disappointed that @PublishersWkly named this book by Francesca Albanese a Best Nonfiction Book of 2026. Having a different *opinion* of the Gaza conflict is one thing, but Albanese lacks fidelity to *facts*: she claimed there’s “no evidence” for Hamas’ 10/7 rape of 🇮🇱 women.

New 30 km/h area speed limit signs will be posted at neighbourhood entry and exit points. Once you enter a signed area, the 30 km/h speed limit applies throughout the local road network until you leave that area.
Slower speeds help reduce the risk of serious collisions and make neighbourhood streets safer.

Last night, my wife had to take the subway late in the evening. I worried about her safety in a way I wouldn’t have in a pre-Chow era. We also had a break-in at our house a few months ago.
I don't follow municipal politics closely, but I know this much: a city can’t be great when its residents worry about their personal safety. By that measure, Chow has failed. I’ll be voting for @BradMBradford.
