I feel like the GOP love-bombing of John Fetterman did pay off, and helped move Stevens. Rs relentlessly made fun of Fetterman until he got pissed at the left over Gaza. Once he started criticizing his party, they defended him from nasty stories, praised his courage, etc. Same here. The NRSC did everything to Stevens but make her prom queen and drop pig's blood on her head. The primary was a contest of who could RT goofy Stevens clips first - Rs or lefties. But part of the MI GOP close is that Stevens is a hero, the Boudica of Bloomfield Hills, unjustly cast aside by her hateful party.
