“If they wanted to do the ‘Phoenix Saga’ properly it should’ve been three or four movies, really milk it because there’s so much that happens [in the comics] and it’s so thrilling and cosmic and expansive. To like stuff it into one film with the cure storyline like oh my god this movie [X-Men: The Last Stand] failed the minute that they made Jean’s story also secondary — Like she is standing behind Magneto throughout like the entire fight scene at the end until he’s finally injected with the cure.”
