Gov. Lamont is denying tens of millions of free educational dollars for low and moderate income school kids to get educational support, completely free of cost to Connecticut taxpayers.
It’s only less surprising when you consider test scores have fallen under Lamont, the black-white achievement gap grew to among the highest in the nation, and he’s allowed school districts to graduate high school students that never were taught how to read.
We need an accountable leader as governor for the next generation. Every kid, regardless of zip code, can succeed. I’ll be their governor.

Your electric bill shouldn’t come with unanswered questions. The Eversource–Lamont texts deserve scrutiny. Ratepayers deserve transparency, strong ethics rules, and clear answers

No American city, no American, is a "small price to pay." Not Los Angeles, not San Diego, not anywhere. It seems President Trump has forgotten who he works for.
An absolutely vile statement. So much for America first.

Government should work for the people. I support clear parental notification and consent rules, transparent school policies, and time for residents to review legislation and be heard.
Open government. Clear rules. Leadership that follows through.

Ned Lamont made life more expensive.
Lamont raised taxes on food, on your paycheck, and electric rates are up 38% over his eight years.
On November 3rd, let’s retire Ned Lamont and make Connecticut affordable.

CORRUPTION TAX KEEPS GROWING: Let’s walk through a series of scandals at Lamont’s state college and university system…
Fine dining, car service, fraudulent spending and payments, bloated bureaucracy, and more are costing taxpayers millions while Lamont sits idly by.
Lamont even called the main perpetrator his “good friend” as he collected $440,000 a year for a no-show job.
And that is just one of several terminations, demotions, and resignations for stealing, sexual harassment, mismanagement, and more on Lamont’s watch.
This is unacceptable. As governor, I’ll end the Corruption Tax and hold our government accountable to students, employees, and taxpayers.

You pay higher taxes than ever under Ned Lamont. He’s raised taxes on your food, your paychecks, your online purchases and more. Yet thanks to the governor, Data Centers pay nothing at your expense.
It sounds crazy, but it’s true. Lamont waived all property and sales taxes for data centers while raising your taxes by billions over eight years.
As governor, I’ll cut taxes by $2500 per year for middle class families and help fund it by ending special interest carve outs like Lamont’s data center subsidy.
It’s time to make Connecticut affordable.

Governor Lamont gave Kosta Diamantis a promotion and a raise, putting him in a position of enormous authority over taxpayer dollars. Today, a federal judge sentenced him to 84 months in prison for corruption.
Connecticut taxpayers deserve accountability. The Corruption Tax that you’re paying for under the Lamont administration has grown with scandal after scandal of wasted or stolen taxpayer dollars from senior officials in government. In my administration, the buck will stop with me, we’ll end the corruption tax, and make Connecticut affordable.

🚔 POLICE ENDORSEMENT: I’m honored to have the support of the Connecticut State Fraternal Order of Police and the brave men and women who put on the uniform every day to keep our communities safe. I have always stood with our officers and supported policies that give them the resources, support, and authority they need to do their jobs — in opposition to Lamont’s radical policies that tie their hands. Connecticut is struggling to recruit and retain law enforcement officers, and too many of our officers are being asked to do more with less because of restrictive laws the governor supported and passed.
Gov. Lamont has repeatedly undermined our law enforcement, most notably by passing the 2020 Police Reform Bill despite opposition from thousands of police officers. We need leadership that puts public safety over political ideology.
As governor, I will stand with our officers, make public safety and safe streets a priority, and be the governor our law enforcement community needs.

A DEBATE CHALLENGE TO WILLIAM TONG
Connecticut voters deserve to hear directly from both candidates for Attorney General.
So, Attorney General Tong, I’m challenging you to a debate.
Anywhere. Anytime. Any format.
Let’s debate before Early Voting begins on October 19.
Let’s talk about the issues facing Connecticut families, the role of the Attorney General, and our very different visions for the office.
You have a record. I have a different vision.
Let’s put both before the voters and let them decide.
Name the place. Name the time.
I’ll be there.
