SNEAK PEEK: The upcoming film Gods Don’t Give Gifts features singer and songwriter Claire Boucher (@Grimezsz ) as a disaffected NiiroCore aristocrat, and YouTuber Mike Majlak (@mikemajlak) as a vagrant who witnesses the rise of a prophet.

The DGA has an online archive of deep dive career history interviews with some all time legends that are all worth digging into. I got to interview a hero of mine for this series, the great and powerful Frank Oz. dga.org/craft/visualhistory/…

this is very clearly an interface and interaction design problem, not something inherent to agents. the system is designed in a way that encourages maximal decision deference to the machine, under the guise of machine intelligence. it is also designed in a way that encourages passive, disengaged interaction with the system. anyone even remotely familiar with decision architecture and the decision support v automation distinction can instantly recognize that the way information is structured and presented, and the role the user is placed in within the user-machine interaction dynamic is one where the design intent is for the system to make the decision (as many as possible!), and the intended role of the user is to approve it -- ideally approving as few decisions as possible. this drives engagement in a facebook-y social media way, but leads to vastly worse outcomes. the results are evident. also -- while (obviously) I'm a big proponent of thinking deeply about how we rearchitect organizations and thoughtfully design work, I do think this particular issue is a design problem *first*, and an organizational architecture problem *only* insofar as organizations are forced to behave defensively against adversarial product design as long as better alternatives are not available.
New Anthropic research: How AI agents shape experts' judgment calls When experts delegate work to an agent, do they still make the key decisions? We tested this in a randomized trial with 50 professional data analysts.

Love it!
Check out this sweet and quirky AI sci-fi short, Nobody Dies on Mars, by @verenapuhm and her team! It's about a chef who's lost his sense of taste on Mars and ends up befriending the cutest little alien, Miso. Love the friendship between these two and the fun take on life on Mars! Also, huge congrats to Verena and her team for taking second place at the 2026 Future Vision XPRIZE and winning $100,000! 🎉

I told Opus to read recent SIGGRAPH papers and build the coolest thing it could 🤯 This is a differentiable particle sim running backwards, that uses NVIDIA Warp to optimize 450k launch trajectories to EXACTLY match when the beat drops... No video models - every pixel is code.

Do you call it 4D printing, if the platform moves as well 🤔 3D printing just got a serious upgrade A new five-axis printer can handle 70° overhangs, no support structures needed. This breaks traditional limitations and opens the door to more complex, curved designs. Perfect for engineers and designers pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Exciting times for the future of additive manufacturing.

GAME CHANGER. @trymirage looks crazy. As someone who’s done motion graphics using After Effects I’ve literally spent countless hours trying to get a small animation to cooperate, this is going to save so many people so much time. I’ll be digging in tonight. Stay tuned.
Now Claude and ChatGPT can natively create Premiere (.PRPROJ) and After Effects (.AEP) files. We've added open-source converters to Tesseract, our creative suite for agents, to make it possible. It works both ways. Bring your existing Adobe projects into Tesseract and let your agent pick up where you left off, or vice versa. This is our first open-source release, and compatibility isn’t perfect yet. Create projects, tell us what breaks, or contribute a fix. Help us make Tesseract better for everyone. Try now for free.

I gave Claude Opus 5.5 the original 1982 Gremlins screenplay and access to @invideoOfficial's new MCP and told it to make a trailer for the film using only the screenplay. No existing references from @joe_dante's films were permitted. Claude designed the creatures from the script's descriptions, then wrote, generated, scored, and cut this trailer on its own using @invideoOfficial. I provided no creative input beyond the initial prompt, which told it to make it look like it was from 1984 and use practical creature effects. What do you think? How'd it do?
