I have come to Brussels with a clear message: Europe must end appeasement and stand with the Iranian people. A regime that plots terror on European soil, takes citizens hostage, develops missiles that can reach Europe and supports Russia’s war against Ukraine threatens Europe freedom and security too. As I arrive in Brussels, the capital of Europe, to meet with its leaders, the criminal regime in Iran has murdered two more protesters from the January 8 and 9 protests. Amir Hossein Ebrahimi and Amir Hossein Maleki were put to death this morning, killed by the Islamic Republic, for the crime of wanting to be free. I am in Brussels with a clear message: the era of appeasement must end. Appeasement means more dead, innocent Iranians. Now is the time for moral courage and strategic clarity. My brave fellow Iranians, The Islamic Republic is weaker and more fragmented than ever. It is not the same regime that ruled Iran a year ago. Its missing leader and senior officials are afraid of the Iranian people. They know that a nationwide uprising can bring their rule to an end. This criminal regime and its Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) have dragged our country into war and put Iran’s future at risk. The IRGC controls much of the country, steals its wealth, and is responsible for much of the economic crisis and insecurity we face today. They have left our people without enough food, without security, and without hope for the future. They are willing to destroy Iran to stay in power. Our country has already suffered too much. We cannot allow more destruction. We must stand together and do everything we can to save Iran. We have a clear plan to end the Islamic Republic and manage the country after it falls. Our plan will maintain security and stability, protect people’s basic freedoms, and make sure their essential needs are met. To those serving in the military, police, and security forces: stand with the people, not the regime. Join the nation when the time comes to free Iran. Those who do so will be guaranteed safety and protection from reprisals. But those who continue to support the regime and commit crimes against our people will face justice under the law. This time, I call not only on military and government personnel, but on Iranians from every walk of life who have had enough of this regime and seek a free and prosperous future for our country.
