🚨🏴 Police Scotland is investigating reports of suspected human trafficking brothels in Arbroath following concerns raised by residents.
Scottish Conservative councillors Derek Wann and Jack Cruickshanks referred allegations involving several properties, including residential addresses, to police. Reports suggest customers may be directed through a local business to access the suspected brothels.
The investigation comes amid Police Scotland's nationwide Operation Begonia, targeting prostitution-related exploitation and human trafficking. Since its launch in April 2025, the operation has recorded:
