For the first time, we have raised the Intersex Progress Pride Flag at a NASA center to commemorate #PrideMonth

we can build moon bases and feed the hungry. these things are not mutually exclusive, and pretending they are will get you neither.
don’t lose sight of the humanity we’re expanding for.
Hard to fathom how impoverished a person must be in mind and spirit to not see the value in space exploration. I think this is awesome. I'd much rather spend billions on rocket ships and lunar bases than buying junk food for fat people, or any of the countless other wasteful expenditures. Western civilization has always been marked by its curiosity about the universe and desire to expand, explore, and grow. We've lost that spirit in recent years. It's time to reclaim it.

Not caring about space outreach and letting people continue to have negative perceptions of space travel because “we will progress anyway and they will always be against space” is not very indomitable human spirit if you ask me

Sorry dictators and tech CEOs, the TIME’s people of the year is already determined.

Another sad day. Hard to stay focused on work while our country is in such pain. Tell someone you love them. Call a friend you haven't talked to in a while. Do something good. RIP Alex Pretti

Great No Kings event in Clear Lake, TX, today. ~1,700 great Americans there in this small suburb.
Contrary to the nonsense coming from MAGA, it was peaceful, very pro-America, and nobody was paid!
There were some scary dinosaur and frog costumes and funny signs though.

Hate to agree with Kamala.
However being stiffed on electric car day doesn’t make you hate trans people, push great replacement conspiracy, agree that “Hitler was right that Jews push dialectical hatred against whites” or boost holocaust denying white nationalists weekly.

Humanity is ALL of us.
if you are “pro humanity” but hate who this flag represents, then you’re not really pro humanity because loving humanity starts with loving humans.

It’s weird to me that after the first 4 years people didn’t realize (or somehow forgot) that 95% of relationships with this guy go down in flames. Pretty sure there were like 50 books written about it during and after that time. It’s more predictable than the weather, and it’s never going to change.
Anyway, that’s my one political post for the quarter lol. Back to rockets

I feel bad for everyone (including me) who thought the fascists would at least be ok with Space while they destroyed everything else.

Yep. Spaceflight fans need to understand that most people are not hyped about spaceflight as we are, and that is ok. Everybody don't need to be. There are millions things I am not hyped about at all.
When you call them dumb, they move further away from space industry.

The dream of a United States reaching out to the stars depends upon first supporting fellow democracies here on Earth, especially against authoritarian invaders.
I hate having to talk about politics (contrary to what some might think).
I just want to get on here and talk about space stuff. But there are many things more important than space stuff. And I don’t tweet about them all. But sometimes I will, and these things are popping up more often unfortunately. It might be silly to talk about space instead of much more important things but I like and care about space, so that’s my focus on Twitter.
As for the current thing. Russia is the belligerent aggressor invading a sovereign country, they are the ones who have to be brought to heel for a peace deal. No one else. This is obvious.
