silverstone really burns him
Lewis : « Before I joined this team, when I was in Mercedes, I watched and witnessed the back-and-forth between Charles and Carlos. Several races where they were battling so much that the person ahead just pulled away, and they had the pace to actually win the race.
It’s one thing when that's happening in fourth and fifth as opposed to first and second, and you lose the win. That's significant. The guy is 28 years old, so I don't think it's an age thing. I think it's a mentality thing. It's like do or die. Like, either I win, or none of us do, and it shouldn't be that. It should be, us having got that one-two, which is still a good feeling.
At Silverstone, I could have gone all kamikaze on him and taken him off and lost us the the win, but instead a one-two was there, and I think we got a one-two, or was it a one-three? I'm happy for the team to have experienced that. I'm hopeful we'll work towards a better place in the future. »

Went anfield and didn’t concede a single shot on target. Best defence we’ve ever seen.

For my part, I’d just like to know how anyone could have been forced off from the outside when you didn’t even leave your teammate enough room in the first place.
And Leclerc still isn’t Hamilton’s fucking wingman. He has every right to race his teammate aggressively, just like Hamilton did to him at Monza.
As for the 5-second penalty instead of 10, that’s exactly what the stewards took into account when assessing the corner-cutting incident. Hamilton lost control of his car and slid towards Leclerc, who was already slightly ahead of him at that point. Had Leclerc not moved out of the way, they would’ve collided and both ended up out of the race.
Anyway, it’s absolutely hilarious watching Hamilton and Verstappen, and their fans, completely lose their minds over this, considering both drivers have gotten away with far more questionable moves without so much as a penalty.

Leclerc would have done the corner? We don’t know, because Lewis accompanied him wide. The key here is that Lewis did not made the corner: there is no evidence that Leclerc wasn’t going to do the corner #MexicoGP
