The idea that we are now supposed to call it “Türkiye” is rather ridiculous. It’s as goofy as if the Germans demanded we call them Deutschland and we demanded they spell “Kanada” with a C. You don’t get to dictate your name in foreign languages, Turkey.

I dislike that when a non-Muslim thinks of a Muslim, their mind immediately goes to a Wahhabi. They think that out of 2 billion, maybe not all or a majority, but that a plurality subscribe to these ideas.
