New details are emerging about the victims of Sunday’s devastating Learjet crash in Palm Beach County, Florida, which claimed the lives of all nine people aboard.
According to TMZ, a married couple traveling with their two young children has been identified as Adam Robinson, 44, an Austin, Texas, technology entrepreneur, and his wife, Helen Robinson, who owned a public relations company.
The couple’s two children, whose names have not been publicly released, were also aboard the aircraft, along with the family’s nanny and two close family friends.
The identities of the nanny and family friends have not yet been publicly confirmed.
According to The Palm Beach Post, relatives of the couple spoke about the devastating loss on Monday. Helen’s father confirmed that his daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren had been aboard the aircraft.
“It’s quite a blow. We had a daughter, her husband and two grandchildren on the plane,” he told the newspaper.
The Learjet 60 had reportedly departed Austin, Texas, and was traveling to North Eleuthera in the Bahamas when it experienced a catastrophic descent over Palm Beach County on Sunday, November 1.
Flight-tracking data indicated the aircraft had climbed to approximately 41,000 feet before entering a rapid descent, reportedly exceeding 32,000 feet per minute. The plane ultimately crashed into a residential area, scattering wreckage, igniting fires, and bringing down power lines.
All nine people aboard were killed. The captain has been identified as 55-year-old Jeff Gregory, and the co-pilot has been identified as 20-year-old Nathalia Filgueiras.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

He was reportedly traveling with his wife, Helen Sharp, 40, their two young children, the family’s nanny, and two close friends when the aircraft went down. All nine people aboard were killed.
Robinson grew up near Houston, graduated from Rice University, and spent approximately a decade working on Wall Street, including at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital, before transitioning into entrepreneurship.
He went on to build multiple successful companies, including Retention .com, a marketing technology company reportedly generating more than $20 million in annual recurring revenue. He was known for building highly profitable businesses with small teams and without relying heavily on outside investors.
His wife, Helen, was also an entrepreneur and ceramic artist who operated Helen Sharp Ceramics.
The family was traveling aboard the 2004 Learjet 60,
bound for North Eleuthera in the Bahamas.
During the flight, the crew reported icing, turbulence, and precipitation before requesting clearance to climb to a higher altitude. Shortly afterward, the aircraft began descending at an alarming rate, with the crew reporting a descent of approximately 20,000 feet per minute.
The two pilots have also been identified in reports as Captain Jeff Gregory, 55, and co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, just 20 years old.
