I built this just for fun for a few friends but: 1. it's growing organically 2. people that installed and connected to a few friends use it every day 3. the #1 thing i hear from people is "I text my friends more now" which is perfect. Exactly what I hoped. Talk to your friends!
I built a tiny app last week. Pick 9 friends, take photos, they show up on each other’s home screens. I shared it on TestFlight and it ended up being pretty fun. It’s in the App Store now. It took Apple longer to review it than it took me to make it. getnine.app

Isn't it kinda crazy that we used to turn on the TV and just watch music videos? I watched VH1 Top Ten all the time. The same songs in a slightly different order over and over.

I love the part of the bible where Christ teaches about the importance of strong borders and a transformed tax code.
Replying to @cycworker
He overturned Roe, has done the most to protect the citizenry from foreign invaders (let in by past corrupt admins), transformed the tax code to better Americans economically et al

Impressive. I hate it.
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

Man, the open/close animation on the iPhone Duo is so nice it convinced a ton of people to order a device that was clearly mid.

I have a weekly game night group. There’s a whole coordination conversation every week about who’s hosting and who’s attending. I built and app that automates this. Then I killed the app because the conversation was part of the value of planning, not a cost of it.
Someone told me he thinks dating apps are bad because they let you access connection without having any motion in your life. Normally meeting people requires going out into the world, entering new scenes and navigating unfamiliar situations. You have to be living a life that brings you into contact with other people. Dating apps let you order connection without doing any of that work

All you haters are gonna feel real stupid when you’re stuck in traffic and I’m doing flying flips over you to pass.

I’m gonna send this letter to all my neighbors to ensure my kids get full size candy bars from every house.
My HOA sent me a letter requesting that I stop handing out full-size candy bars for Halloween this year. -Fun-size bars are usually 15–25¢ each. -Full-size are around 75¢–$1. Most people give out 2–3 fun-size anyway, so the real difference is often only a few cents per kid. Am I crazy, or is it weird for an HOA to police this?

I don’t get it. Even AI generates better assets than this.
The era of Super Intelligence is here. AIForce is officially SIForce.

Pretty wild that the GBBS picked a new judge that has clearly never eaten food before.

Reminds me of when google tried to call their new android phone a “super phone” because it was so much better than a smart phone.
Trump tells the UN he is officially changing the name of Artificial Intelligence to "Super Intelligence" and says all US government documents will now be changed to refer to "SI"

An idea I've been playing with. Develop. A photo app that acts just like a film camera: film rolls, no instant previews, double exposures, you gotta wait for the film to develop, you get your photos in a beautiful envelope, each photo feels special. Save to your camera roll or send to a friend.

There's something special about the scarcity of film that we lost in the infinite photo era. Be more intentional. I love the experience of opening a set of 12 photos that you took over the course of a week. Even better when that set was given to you by a friend.

this model is actually insane at email classification i tested it on 1500 of my own emails to see how well it works and I am blown away
After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI? I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev • 20-200x faster • 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free) • Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution
