🚨 BRISTOL MAGISTRATE AND CHURCH PASTOR AVOIDED JAIL AFTER SEXUALLY ABUSING A 14-YEAR-OLD BOY James Hennah, a local magistrate, church pastor and school counsellor, sexually abused a 14-year-old boy who trusted him as a mentor. Hennah, of St George, Bristol, befriended the boy and his family through Bristol Community Church’s youth programme. He first abused the child while supposedly praying with him, claiming he was bringing him peace. He admitted two offences of sexually touching a child and one of voyeurism. Despite abusing a child in his position of trust, Hennah avoided immediate prison, receiving six months suspended for two years. TWO NIGHTCLUB BOUNCERS JAILED FOR RAPING DRUNK WOMAN AFTER TARGETING HER ON CHRISTMAS NIGHT OUT Two nightclub bouncers who were supposed to help keep people safe have been jailed for a combined 18-and-a-half years after targeting and raping a vulnerable woman enjoying a Christmas night out. Iyoseph Derry, 33, and Hassan Bockarie, 34, preyed on the woman after watching her become increasingly intoxicated at Banjul Nightclub in Wolverhampton. The horrifying offences took place when the victim was celebrating the festive season with her sister. Instead of ensuring her safety, the two men exploited her vulnerable condition for their own sexual gratification. Birmingham Crown Court heard that Derry raped the woman inside a car before she was taken to Bockarie's flat, where she was raped again approximately an hour later. The court heard that Derry encouraged Bockarie during the second attack. Judge Dean Kershaw condemned both men, making clear that they had deliberately targeted the woman because of her intoxicated state. The judge told them: "You both saw she was drunk and getting more and more so as the night went on. You targeted her for that reason." The devastating impact on the victim was revealed in her statement to the court. She described how she had once been a bubbly, outgoing person but was now constantly anxious and on edge. She said she had suffered several breakdowns following the attacks and no longer felt comfortable going out. The woman had simply gone out to enjoy a Christmas celebration. Instead, she was subjected to a traumatic ordeal by two men working in positions associated with public safety. Derry, who was of no fixed address, was found guilty of rape and aiding and abetting rape following a trial. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Bockarie, from Erdington, Birmingham, was convicted of rape and sentenced to eight years and six months. During sentencing, Judge Kershaw said the pair had brought the reputation of nightclub doormen into disrepute.
