October 7 should not be hijacked.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas-led terrorists invaded Israel. Around 1,200 people were murdered and 251 were taken hostage.
Just TWO DAYS LATER—while Israeli families were still searching for the missing, identifying mutilated bodies and confronting the horrifying remains of babies, children and elderly victims burned in the massacre—a pro-Palestinian rally, Greens and unions marched to the Sydney Opera House.
An Israeli flag was burned. Flares were fired. “F*** the Jews” and “Gas the Jews” were chanted. Jewish Australians had been advised to stay away from the area for their own safety.
Think about that: Jews were mourning a massacre overseas while being warned away from one of Australia’s most iconic landmarks at home.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO AUSTRALIA?
How did we reach a point where Jewish Australians could be advised to avoid part of their own city while antisemitic abuse was shouted in the streets?
And now, three years later, activists again choose October 7 for a pro-Palestinian demonstration.
There are 364 other days.
Australia should have learned something from October 9, 2023.
Jewish Australians should never again be made to feel that their own city is unsafe for them while they are mourning their murdered people.

Look, it was fun at first: 'manholes' becoming 'person utility access points'. We all had a laugh.
Then you bundled LGB, which describes sexuality, with TIAQ+ and even more fringe behaviours. Then 'pronouns'. Then you wanted transwomen, born with greater size and strength, in women's sports. And on women-only dating apps and in bathrooms and changerooms.
Then you weaponised the language, telling us what we could and couldn't say.
At the same time, you started calling everyone racist if they didn't agree with your often perverse views. You infantalised Aboriginal people and relegated them to a status of permanent victimhood, to keep as your 'pets' to prove your moral superiority and lord it over everyone as, ironically, their 'Great White Saviours'.
You divided us more and more by race, similar to apartheid and America's Jim Crow laws: separate race-based 'Voices' to State Parliaments; separate court systems; preferential triaging in hospitals; DEI on the basis of race, not on the basis of suitability; and countless advantages and benefits such as housing, welfare, scholarships, and so on, as if Aboriginal people weren't good enough to achieve on their own merit - a damning indicator of your own internalised racism in itself.
You transcended common sense and adopted the lunatic suicidal empathy of 'Queers for Palestine', knowing full-well what can happen to people such as yourselves in the Middle East.
And then 2026 rolled around and people started paying attention to people such as Pauline Hanson who said she wanted people treated as equals, with no benefits or advantages on the basis of race or religion.
More and more started to listen and she got more press - and that meant more people realising that we'd been captured and held hostage to political correctness absurdities for too long and that it was OK to stand up and say you agree with her views on immigration, patriotism, equality and so on.
Oh, sure, you screamed 'racist' and 'homophobe' and 'misogynist' and even 'Islamophobe' even louder, but name-calling had lost its power. It was then that we normal people discovered it was OK to be normal people and not have to kowtow and walk on eggshells for the five-percenters (Aborigines, LGBs, Muslims, etc) and their slogan-chanting, pink, purple and green-haired supporters.
And, so here we are: the majority taking back democracy for the majority, whilst protecting the interests, safety and wellbeing of minorities - the way it was always supposed to work, with the dog wagging its tail rather than the tail wagging the dog.
You had your fun. But now it's over. Go home. The world won't fall apart. We've got this.

This has escalated. The Extreme Left think it is impossible that someone could be generous with anything other than other people’s money. My wife is the driving force behind setting these rents. Our inner city Melbourne block of eight two bedroom renovated flats, with undercover parking, are all rented well below market rate, and one is at $120 a week and has been for close to a decade, and one is $150 a week and has been for close to five years. Both of those rented by single parents, one a mum with two kids, one a dad with one kid. Did Albo rent his investment properties, that he sold before tanking the market, at a discount? And if not, why does the Extreme Left paint me as the evil greedy landlord, and him as the hero of the downtrodden? Do you think I’m lying about these rents, and if so, wanna bet? Ps they have never been negative geared.

This is the story of how a fund chaired by former Labor PM Julia Gillard acquired a wind farm project just six days before Labor Energy Minister Chris Bowen underwrote its future revenues with taxpayer money.
Today we've learned Julia's fund is trying to flip it. For a profit.
HMC Capital's 'Energy Transition Fund' rushed to acquire the Neoen Victoria portfolio. They hadn't even raised any money in their fund. They closed with almost a billion dollars worth of borrowed money and IOU's.
Less than a week later, Chris Bowen announced Kentbruck Wind Farm to be successful in the first round of the Capacity Investment Scheme. My rough calculations suggest they will receive something like a billion dollars from taxpayers (and maybe much more) over 15 years.
Sweet deal. A billion dollars of fancy financial monopoly money one week. A billion dollars of promised taxpayer dollars the next.
I want to emphasise that I have no evidence of anything illegal or improper taking place. Rather, I want to point out how odious and repugnant the official, proper, legal business of renewable energy has become.
Yesterday Chris Bowen announced he wanted to supersize the CIS subsidy scheme, yet again.
Today Ross Garnaut seemed to cheer this on, whilst pointing out "There are now virtually no new investment commitments for solar and wind generation that do not have CIS or other Government underwriting,"
What happened to a sense of propriety? Since when do we celebrate people rushing to put their snouts in the trough? Or rushing to fill the trough even higher?
Unlike the UK who publish a 'going rate' for technology subsidies, our renewables are subsidised through a secret tender process. Every project gets to ask for whatever revenue they want to proceed. @AEMO_Energy facilitates a secret beauty pageant, where they award points for things like indigenous participation or community engagement, alongside financial value.
And Chris Bowen makes the final call.
The bids remain secret. There's no cap to the pay-outs. Since AEMO is a private company, there is no scope for an FOI request, and AEMO aren't not subject to parliamentary oversight through Senate Estimates.
So no-one can ever prove an allegation that Bowen has bestowed special favour on a friend's project if that was what he did. But equally, he can never prove that he selected strictly according to merit. We are just expected to trust the black-box of Bowen's subsidies.
So I'm going to say out loud, with full voice, that I hope everyone can agree on:
If this is what the future of 'clean energy' looks like in Australia, it looks absolutely FILTHY.
Any firm that talks about ESG seriously should start taking the "G" a bit more seriously and steer clear of projects that thrust their snouts into Bowen's hopelessly opaque, bottomless trough of government funds.
Or at the very least, purge their boards and senior leadership of all the former Labor staffers, donors, and industry lobbyists who have had a hand in designing the trough, and filling it up.
The reality is that there are no natural profits to be made in generating renewable electricity in Australia.
Every dollar of profit in this industry is really a cheque signed by a politician, with Chris Bowen signing all the biggest cheques, worth untold billions, in the next three years.
It's all legal. It's all official. And it's absolutely obscene.
