To the Americans:
I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States.
And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness:
You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence.
This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns.
Success is equated with exploitation.
Ambition is looked upon with contempt.
This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom.
But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated.
This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet.
And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America:
Thank God for the United States.
Thank God for the wisdom of its founders.
Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man.
Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners.
Long may your admirable country dominate the world.
Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states.
May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning.
Your country is the light of the world, and the city on the hill.
Thank God for the USA.
Happy 250th.

Why is it ‘cancelled’ in the U.K. but ‘canceled’ in the U.S.?
Because we gave them that L in 1776.

A woman hiking in Canada nearly became a grizzly’s next meal and the video circulating right now is genuinely one of the most intense wildlife encounters you will ever watch - her dog is with her, a massive grizzly is right there, and somehow she kept her head together long enough for both of them to walk away breathing.
That is not a small thing. Most people talk tough until nature is standing ten feet in front of them and every instinct in your body is screaming to run, and running is exactly the worst thing you can do.
Grizzlies are built to chase, they top out over 700 pounds and can cover ground faster than any human alive. The people who survive these moments are the ones who override pure fear with pure discipline and this woman did exactly that.
If you hike, camp, or spend any real time in the wilderness - bear spray is not optional, it is the difference between a story you tell and one somebody else tells about you.
Could you have kept your cool?
Hats off to her.

WELCOME TO WASHINGTON, SOCCER FANS. Get acquainted with our state via this highly accurate and mostly-to-scale map.

ALT A hot mess of colorful scribbles all over a map of Washington, featuring doodles of iconic Washington features like mountains, orcas, ferries, cherries, onions, and other produce. The map emphasizes the busyness of the Seattle area, I-5, I-90, US 2, and the U.S./Canada border during the World Cup games.

This is probably the best look at the shockwaves I’ve seen from the latest Starship flight.
Captured from a GoPro I clamped onto a proper camera to record simultaneous video. (I’ll show you the photo the better camera took in the reply)

I grew up on a quarter horse ranch with Ivermectin.
I have been a physical trainer for over 30 years.
Do this for covid "THEY" said :
Wear a surgical mask that is made for large particles and not even close to dense enough to stop aerosolized covid molecules.
However, it did a fantastic job of focusing the pathogens around your face.
Stay out of the sun, which would let you receive healthy doses of vitamin D which is a Proven immune booster.
Do not leave the house so that the mental stress accumulates and the anxiety keeps you from receiving life giving Sleep.
Stand SIX feet apart because covid particles lose interest after 5'11" s.
Stand behind a plexiglass barrier because covid is lazy and will definitely not go around.
And for heaven's sake, DO NOT take that horse dewormer ..... Ivermectin.
That animal medicine that won a NOBEL Prize in 2015 in Physiology or Medicine for its' efficacy in HUMANs.
That medicine that has been administered to BILLIONs of humans in BILLIONs of doses and is more well tolerated than acetaminophen.
That medicine that now that they are done LYING about it is being Studied and being Used to treat CANCER.
Yes, that one ....... do NOT take that.
Stay strong.

New Testament scholar Jeremiah Johnston explains why he believes the Shroud of Turin is authentic, tells story about how Jewish technical photographer Barrie Schwortz became convinced it was authentic.
"If you're a medieval forger, how are you gonna know about AB blood?"
"I believe that based on the evidence in the 102 academic disciplines that have studied over 600,000 research hours in it... I believe that because I'm not irrational."
"I went from skeptic to believing in it based on the science..."
"It is an itemized receipt of how much Jesus loves you."
Remarkable.

This Easter, I invite you to look at Jesus, consider what he said and did, and ask for yourself what I believe is the most important question you will ever answer: Did he really leave behind an empty tomb? And if he did, what does that mean for you?

I spent a whole day visiting the Seattle daycares featured in my @NRO article with @abigailandwords about inexplicable spending by @waDCYF .
Most did not answer when I knocked. If there were children inside, thick curtains blocked any natural sunlight for them. Neighbors were unaware of daycares a one-minute walk away. Confused residents said that they had no knowledge of a daycare at their address, to which Washington State paid nearly $500,000 last year.
WA State Attorney General Nick Brown said that he would focus on prosecuting journalism like this instead of investigating welfare fraud. The State Auditor stated that DCYF records are so bad that millions of dollars over the past four years have been un-auditable. This violates the terms of their federal funding.
This video is only half of the footage we captured. Stay tuned.
