If you respect animals, you don't support this.
90% of pigs in the UK are killed in CO2 gas chambers.
They struggle to breathe. They try to escape.
Call it 'stunning' if you like. It is still a gas chamber.
There is no humane way to kill an animal who doesn't want to die.
Do you agree?

25 OCT 2026 ๐๐๐๐๐๐
These beautiful pups have come from awful conditions. They have never been out on walks, have lived in their own faeces and have had little to no socialisation with people or other dogs.
When we collected them, most were completely shut down. They froze when taken outside on a lead, and it was heartbreaking to see. They now have a chance to learn what it means to feel safe, loved and cared for.
All six are severely underweight, with a body condition score of just 1. They have a long road ahead, but we are determined to give them the happy, healthy lives they deserve.
WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP!
We have already spent over ยฃ800 on their initial vaccinations and microchipping. They still need further vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, neutering, veterinary care and ongoing rehabilitation. With six pups to care for, the costs will quickly add up.
Please help us give these pups the fresh start they deserve. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. If you cannot donate, please share!

A homeowner returned after being away for a week and found seven apples arranged beside the giant stuffed bear on his porch.
At first, he assumed someone in the neighborhood had placed them there as a joke. But the house was surrounded by woods, and nothing else on the porch had been disturbed.
Curious, he reviewed the security footage.
On the first night, a tiny black bear cub appeared from the trees carrying a red apple in its mouth. It cautiously climbed onto the porch, walked directly toward the stuffed bear and placed the apple beside its paw.
The cub did not eat it.
Instead, it climbed onto the chair, pressed its body against the stuffed bearโs belly and fell asleep beneath one of its fabric arms.
Before sunrise, the cub disappeared back into the forest.
But it returned the following night with another apple.
Night after night, the same little bear repeated the routine. It brought one apple, placed it beside the stuffed bear and curled up against the toy until morning.
The cameras never recorded an adult bear following it.
The homeowner began to realize that the cub was not simply using the porch as shelter. The toyโs dark fur, large body and round face may have reminded it of the mother it had lost.
Those apples were not forgotten food.
They appeared to be gifts.
The homeowner contacted a local wildlife rehabilitation team, who began monitoring the cub from a safe distance and left appropriate food near the forest rather than encouraging it to approach the house.
But he did not immediately remove the stuffed bear.
For several more nights, the little cub returned to the porch, climbed into the same chair and slept beside the only โmotherโ that was still waiting for it.
The cub had no way to understand why its real mother never came back.
So each night, it brought another appleโjust in case she was hungry when she finally did.

Brian May resigned from the RSPCA, the organisation created specifically to protect animals from cruelty, because he no longer believed it was doing enough to prevent that cruelty. His decision, announced on Instagram, quickly turned into something much bigger. Ricky Gervais and Joanna Lumley joined other celebrities in calling for change, more than 60 animal protection organisations signed a petition, the RSPCA opened an internal investigation, and its own Chief Executive eventually announced that he would step down.
May had served as a Vice President of the RSPCA since 2012. For twelve years he had raised money and campaigned for animal welfare. But in September 2024 he learned what had been happening on some farms carrying the RSPCA Assured label. Investigations had uncovered overcrowding, poor hygiene, and cases of physical abuse on more than 40 certified farms. Major supermarkets were signed up to the scheme, so customers could see the RSPCA label and believe they were paying extra for higher standards.
May gave the organisation time to respond. In the end he felt the response was completely inadequate. On September 26, 2024, he posted his resignation letter on Instagram. โIt is with profound sadness and not without massive soul-searching that today I have to offer my resignation as a vice-president of the RSPCA. Good folks out there are still paying extra for animal produce with the RSPCA sticker on it โ thinking they are protecting farm animals from cruelty. In the end there was no other option for me.โ
The following day Bryan Adams, Moby, Ricky Gervais, Joanna Lumley and others signed an open letter urging the RSPCA to abandon the scheme. More than 60 animal protection organisations signed it. The RSPCA launched an internal review and its Chief Executive announced he would step down by the end of the year.
Brian May walked away from the animal protection organisation he had supported for twelve years because he believed it was not providing enough protection to animals. And somehow there may be no decision more perfectly Brian May than that.
