I had to check but yes this is their actual report which assesses that the Chinese and Russian threats to their territory are greater than the North Korean threat etc. Those kids need to work on their posture

Mark Sutcliffe wins Ottawa mayoralty with 44% of the vote in a 36% voter turnout election: clearly not a galvanizing election. Only Councillor upset was in Kanata South: Erin Coffin defeats incumbent Allen Hubley. Election takeaway: women form majority (13 to 12) on City Council.

Ottawa, if you’re still in line at a polling station, stay in line.
Polls closed at 8 PM, but if you were in line before 8, you still have the right to vote.
Stay in line and make sure your vote is counted!

From Auckland to Vancouver, inner-ring neighborhoods are reserved for the rich to have low-density housing next to the downtown job center. This is regressive and inefficient, creating sprawl and forcing everyone else into long commutes.

When I publish public polling during an election, I make a point of declining my ballot or leaving it blank. It’s a longstanding practice to keep my own political preferences separate from my work.
Today in Toronto, I cast a blank ballot. #TOpoli

#VPDNews: The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) is asking for help to identify a man who was found in medical distress on a sidewalk near Keefer and Columbia streets on September 7.
He was subsequently taken to hospital and passed away on September 11. Investigators do not suspect foul play and are not conducting a criminal investigation.
Attempts to identify the man through DNA, missing person reports, and police databases have been unsuccessful.
The deceased man appears to be white, between 45 and 60 years old, and 180 pounds. He had short grey/brown hair, brown eyes, and dentures, and a tattoo of an anchor on his upper left arm. VPD investigators are releasing a picture of the tattoo with hopes that someone may recognize it.
Anyone who has information is asked to call VPD's Missing Person Unit at 604-717-2530 or email [email protected].
