Canadians are now living under the most corrupt, unethical government in Canadian history. You feel it every time you buy groceries, fill your tank, or watch your country get handed off piece by piece. They don't serve you. They serve themselves and their global friends. Share it if you're done pretending otherwise.

“Sovereignty is no longer the freedom to act alone, but the ability to act together.” Ursula von der Leyen, Montreal, 29 Oct 2026, addressing Canada’s possible transition to being an associate member of the EU. Mark Carney has no mandate to redefine Canada’s sovereignty, and cause us to lose our independence. He must seek a mandate by way of referendum or general election.

Disgusting and horrifying beyond belief. If you like how our entire justice system from the courts down to the woke-infested senior police administrators operate, then just keep voting liberal.
I fear what will happen when a critical mass of Canadians come to the conclusion that the justice system doesn't dispense justice.

About this EU–Canada “associate membership” idea… Has anyone told the EU that Canada still has supply management, including dairy quotas the EU abolished 11 years ago?
The Canadian Dairy Commission, which helps determine how much dairy farmers are paid for their milk, will make an announcement today at 11:30 a.m. ET. Will milk prices rise again this year?

If my ancestors wanted to be a part of Europe, they would have stayed there. They came to Canada, to get away from Europe, actually. Carney has no right to arbitrarily declare we are now part of the EU. The last thing we need, is a 4th layer of government & bureaucracy & red tape

Canada should not get into bed with Ursula von der Leyen. She was never elected by a single voter. She was nominated by heads of government and confirmed behind closed doors in Brussels. You can't vote her out. Neither can anyone in Europe. That alone should end the conversation, but it gets worse. This is the woman who negotiated billions in vaccine contracts with Pfizer's CEO by text message, then refused to show the texts. The EU's own court ruled against her. Billions in public money, decided in private chats, hidden from the public. And she survived it. She always survives it. She survived a no-confidence vote. She survived the German defence ministry scandals, the missing data, the consultant contracts. She survives everything because the system she runs isn't built to hold her accountable. It's built to protect her. Now look at what she's selling us. Digital ID wallets for every citizen. Officially voluntary today. But once that infrastructure exists, governments always find new uses for it. That's not a conspiracy, that's just how power works. And "ever closer association" means Canada falls in line behind EU rules on digital ID, data, and AI. Rules we didn't write. Rules our Parliament doesn't control. Carney calls this "more sovereignty." Let's be honest about what it is. It's trading dependence on Washington for dependence on Brussels. That's not sovereignty. That's changing landlords. And here's the part nobody in Ottawa wants to say out loud: there is no vote. No referendum. No say for the Canadian people. The federal cabinet can sign this and ratify it on its own. The same people who lecture us about democracy are cutting a deal with an unelected leader, in a city most Canadians will never visit, about rules that will govern our daily lives. Europe's farmers already figured her out. They drove their tractors into Brussels because her green rules were strangling them. Her own member states grumble about how much power she's grabbed for herself. Even the people who work under her call her "Queen Ursula." So why is Canada crawling into bed with her? Because Carney wants a headline about standing up to Trump, and Ursula wants another country in her orbit. Both of them get what they want. The Canadian people get the bill. We don't need a new master. We need our own house in order. Canada deserves better than Ursula's bed.

It’s not an act of war. It’s an act of the B.C. Legislature. The Province has the right to pass and repeal legislation. It is entirely inappropriate for indigenous leaders to make veiled and not do veiled threats in relation to the lawful powers of the B.C. Legislature. The fact that they feel entitled to do so is frankly symptomatic of the overall failure of the progressive model of Reconciliation with its identity politics and grievances, lack of any end point, failure to work towards liberal democratic norms, divisiveness, unsustainable case law, etc… One may ask why certain indigenous leaders and others take such a radical position in relation to the repeal of a statute we were told is merely aspirational, does not create an aboriginal veto, does not confer new and greater powers and rights to indigenous groups, etc? Or maybe DRIPA does and thus the threats?

No way around it. Mark Carney doesn't follow Parliamentary protocol or rules. Laws don't seem to apply to him. Entering into a new EU-Canada Alliance without any vote in Parliament or by Canadians? Mark Carney is a dictator, and he is not running Canada as a democracy.

Congratulations to Jennifer Whiteside on being named Interim Leader of the BC NDP. I sat across the floor from her for a long time and she is a serious person who works hard for the people she represents. A good opposition makes for a better government, and I expect her to hold us to account while we get to work delivering what we promised British Columbians.

Mr.Rath. You wanted to be leader and lost. To a woman who is the most conservative and courageous Premier in Canada. So now you want to trash Alberta by giving Nenshi and socialism a chance. By starting your own party. You sound more like Lesley Gore every day.

At Issue buried this on YouTube because it undercuts the Carney narrative Coyne admits the obvious: “We’ve been down this road with regional development where we bribe companies to locate in particular locations and the jobs in the industry only stays for as long as the bribes keep coming. So it’s ultimately a no win type of industrial strategy.” Althia: governments hand money to companies for jobs, “and we’ve seen time and time again that the companies don’t actually live up to their obligations.” Canada’s industrial policy is bribery + lawsuits when the bribes fail. None of them mention the obvious: this Stelco spectacle might be whipping up the Carney Boomers, but it is scaring off actual investment that doesn’t need to be paid to stay Armchair panelists who’ve never signed a payroll or run a company, confidently explaining why the jobs left.
