NYC must call Google's bluff, kick out search, and refer the case to the AG and DA for illegal tying and abuse of monopoly power.

Unsolicited advice to all the Democrats who won tough seats this week across the country: have the best possible constituent service operation you can.
I won and flipped my first state house district in 2016 by 323 votes the same night that Trump won my seat by 12 points.
My team was relentless in solving constituent cases because I believe that we can connect with residents regardless of party in this way. We still work this hard at casework.

Microsoft has filed a patent for an AI system that could rewrite what people say during livestreams in real time. It could change words depending on who's watching, taking into account their age, location, and language.
The idea is to clean up broadcasts by removing filler words, censoring swearing, or even replacing certain words.
The AI could also adjust the speaker's lip movements so viewers wouldn't notice anything had been changed.

Let me try and explain: a Krispy Kreme uses water to make doughnuts which can be eaten and coffee which can be drunken. The workers wash their hands so the food is sanitary and the customers use the bathroom. In a data center, all that water is wasted with no treats.

One healthcare reform I would push for as an internal medicine physician:
When a private health insurer refuses to cover medically necessary treatment and that decision causes a patient harm, the insurance company should face the same medical malpractice liability as the healthcare professionals responsible for treating that patient.
You shouldn’t be able to make decisions that jeopardize someone’s life and walk away without accountability.

This data from the Exit Polls is pretty interesting. The #1 issue for those who voted Democratic was "state of democracy" not the economy. It's why Ds must be both warriors for working people *and* proud patriots defending democracy, rights, and freedom.
