Uttarakhabd AISA leaders Shivank Nautiyal and Yuvaraj Singh were forcefully detained by the police this morning at Srinagar when they were on their way to join a protest demonstration in Dehradun to demand #JusticeForAnkitaBhandari. Amit Shah is visiting Dehradun today and the coward BJP government is desperately trying to silence the cry for justice by detaining protesters.

Comrade Swadesh Bhattacharya, the last member of the reorganised Central Committee of @cpimlliberation since July 1974 passed away a few hours ago in Patna. He was 84. He played a pivotal anchor role in the onward march of the party over the last five decades. His funeral will be held in Patna on 2 November noon. He will always be remembered for his selfless communist dedication and compassion for all comrades. We dip our red banner in salute of this great communist. Comrade Swadesh Bhattacharya Passes Away.
We mourn the demise of Comrade Swadesh Bhattacharya 'Shambhuji' (07.03.1942 - 30.10.2026), Polit Bureau member and one of the founding leaders of CPI(ML) Liberation, who passed away late this evening at a hospital in Patna. He had been undergoing treatment for cancer.
His passing is a profound loss to the Party and the revolutionary movement. The Party dips its red banner in salute to Comrade Swadesh Bhattacharya and resolves to carry forward his unfulfilled mission with the fullest dedication and energy.
His cremation will take place on 2 November in Patna.
