Hammersmith Bridge has already closed, soon Waterloo Bridge, and now Albert Bridge. No serious country would let its capital's infrastructure decline at this rate.

True. But @Microsoft may also have pulled out because of fears about the strength of @nscale's covenant
Billions of pounds lost on a single project because we can’t connect it to the grid for half a decade and have destroyed our capacity to generate reliable electricity.

"What is a good date for 100 per cent electric?... There is no good date because it’s stupid to ban non-electric cars," group CEO of one of the world's biggest carmakers says. N.B. @renaultgroup is more progressed than its competitors when it comes to electrification. @thetimes thetimes.com/business/compan…

I’d love to know how this would facilitate more reservoirs being built (and presumably no horridly carbon intensive concrete would be used the construct then too)
Literally how can you not know this? Staggeringly ignorant.

And isn't it great that @BBCNews @Telegraph (I suspect there will be others) cannot be big enough to credit The Sunday Times (@thetimes) for this scoop ?😂😂😂
Top story from @ojngill - Heathrow airport's opening pushed back to 2039, **four years** later than what Labour had announced when touting their growth plans.

✈️ We all want cleaner aviation. Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) has a role to play in getting there. But green policy has to work in the real world. If the SAF needed to meet government rules simply isn’t available, is forcing suppliers to pay penalties really cutting emissions, or just pushing up the cost of flying for families and businesses? 💷 Mandates need to be grounded in reality. Ministers need an answer. Via @ojngill in @TheTimes —> thetimes.com/business/energy…
