$6.25 billion. 25 million children. $250 each. Susan and I believe the smartest investment we can make is in children. That’s why we’re so excited to contribute $6.25 billion from our charitable funds to help 25 million children start building a strong financial foundation through Invest America. 💪📈🇺🇸 onedell.com/investamerica/

“Be helpful.” ~ @kr8tr Rob La Gesse ht @omaruddin @Scobleizer #FridayFeelings #quoteoftheday #tech
At Rackspace when a competitor was down Rob La Gesse sent them a stack of pizza. We knew the pain. We also never celebrated other’s losses. Do not poke the bear, we used to hear around Silicon Valley, and Rackspace. The karmic bear. Thinking about the engineers at Microsoft and many others. Usually when this happens it reveals a weakness in a system. Which gets fixed. At Rackspace the old timers were there when a truck took out its datacenter. Not fun days to anyone I talked to about it.

NEW: Sen. @BernieSanders on Biden’s Gaza policy: “You cannot continue to talk about your worries about [a] humanitarian situation in Gaza and then give Netanyahu another $10 billion, or more bombs. You cannot do that. That is hypocritical.” Full interview on tomorrow’s pod.

The seven angels killed on a @WCKitchen mission in Gaza on Monday were the best of humanity. The Israeli government needs to open more land routes for food and medicine today. It needs to stop killing civilians and aid workers today. It needs to start the long journey to peace today. You cannot save the hostages by bombing every building in Gaza. You cannot win this war by starving an entire population. nytimes.com/2024/04/03/opini…

"It's much easier to bomb a family's home. The system is built to look for them in these situations." Built to look for them at home. Built to. And yet the person saying this is not a critic of the Israeli regime. It's an intelligence officer describing business as usual.

Please stop with all this. You don’t get to keep giving weapons to Netanyahu, in defiance of American law, to kill innocents with, including innocent Americans, and then pretend you’re ‘pissed’ at Netanyahu. Come on. We weren’t born yesterday.

“*Israel kills over 32000 Palestinians of which 13,000 are children, and injures 75,000 Palestinians, and enforces a famine* LBC Nick Ferrari: "But Israel has a right to defend itself" *Israel kills a group of British citizens and Westerners* LBC Nick Ferrari: "This is indefensible, we need to temporarily suspend the sale of arms to Israel" - lnkd.in/enc_3pfP Such a response exemplifies the absolutely racist sentiment that has plagued the media coverage of this genocide where Arabs are considered so low down the racial hierarchy, that their murder is reasonable, but the Israeli murder of Westerners and British citizens suddenly awakens their conscience. He opens with several paragraphs explaining his friendship and allegiance to Israel just to validate his suggestion of temporarily banning weapons to Israel. So pathetic, and so typically Nick! “ - David Alderton. @NickFerrariLBC care to explain your abysmally pathetic behaviour?

FB’s ability to distract attention from its crimes may be its greatest skill. The fact that FB used Onavo to spy on Snapchat users has been a matter of public record since 2018. I wrote about it in Zucked, which was published more than five years ago. @matthew_d_green @mer__edith
This thing Facebook did — running an MITM on Snapchat and other competitors’ TLS connections via their Onavo VPN — is so deeply messed up and evil that it completely changes my perspective on what that company is willing to do to its users.
