Every clip of this show I've seen is so boring and unfunny that I've grown horrified young people are choosing to watch this instead of smoking or doing drugs.
I've now seen like 4 or 5 clips from this show and these are the least charismatic, least interesting, least funny people I think I've ever seen. Why would literally anyone watch this

Sorry to CTV but no. There are no talks underway. There is no chance of this happening before the midterms above a mathematical non-zero chance.
CTV News reports Canadian government sources are signaling a faint window of opportunity for a snap trade deal with the U.S. ahead of the midterms.

re: polling, these accts played an integral role in spreading the fake wedgewood "polls," and earlier the obviously fake stuff from "median strategies". there is no reason to follow these accounts—we have @50plus1news and other aggregation sources that are better and often faster
“News aggregator” accounts like this that post half-quotes without context for engagement are gonna wreak havoc in the 2028 primaries

Even if you don't like McMorrow, we are learning a lot about how people with resources - and, you imagine, time to check into things - are drinking from the same X slop funnel. (So am I! It has the nutrients and electrolytes I crave.)
I ran a SuperPAC that supported @MalloryMcMorrow. This poll was used by several donors to pull back funding at a time we were being outspent by $80 million.

I have a massive issue with Wedgewood, and now I can finally talk about it. Back when they were first getting started, they were looking for people to increase credibility to presumably get on 50+1/NYT, and these poll-tracking accounts. We had contacted them, just because we were curious, and they had offered to do a poll for $200. Their reasoning for it being so cheap is that they wanted to get their name out, and they were going to "eat most of the costs" from a $10,000 grant. That being said, we thought it was low-risk, so at worst, it would just be a low-quality poll. However, after we paid them, he gave us a poll and claimed the poll was completed in less than a day. We got this despite it being a national poll with an LV sample! We knew right away it was fake, but because of difficulties tracking down the owner and possible risks, we didn't want to say anything. He clearly used Claude, and I hope this whole thing leads to higher standards being practiced by everyone, from polling tracking accounts to polling averages.

Today at 2pm we'll be doing a live conference call with @gelliottmorris about the fake polling firm that may have swung a Michigan primary and a bunch of other midterms news. Register if you want to watch: thecapitolforum.com/events/2…

Strange day on twitter as film critics got together to insist that studios should have total control to dictate the timing of their reviews, even if they pay their own money to attend a public screening. Very odd community.
You broke embargo. A early screening is for social media reactions. Please stop acting surprised over this.

Trying and failing to think of any group of writers other than movie critics who would circle the wagons to demand that they all be totally subservient to the subjects they cover.
Well no, because he did do something wrong. You’re acting like actions have no consequences, and that this is the only movie this guy is ever going to review.

Here's a movie writer saying "maybe you shouldn't have done the thing" when "the thing" is paying your own money to see a movie and then reviewing it without seeking the studio's permission. How can you take these people seriously after this?
If your primary defense is “I’m not technically breaking any rules” maybe you shouldn’t have done the thing

This is an especially poignant point in our current era of egregious conflicts of interest where documentary subjects also have producer powers, kicked off by The Last Dance.
YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING is doing a public service if it gets the general population to question why, precisely, folks lend so much credence to documentaries as vehicles of truth. thebulwark.com/p/you-can-see…

The NBA and prominent sportsbooks have agreed to ban multiple types of bets, per me and @DavidPurdum, such as: - Parlay bets involving the under on the same player's statistics - "First of" market; examples: winner of opening tip, an individual's specific shot, rebound, assist, steal - Under bets on players expected to play less than 12 minutes a game

1/ I have new information about @TickleTexts, a major source of the rumors about James Talarico who also frequently solicits money on here for cancer treatment. I only got what I got because of Amanda Moore's (@noturtlesoup17) initial legwork on this, so please follow her.
