After many months of intense work, I present to you the most ambitious goal of my life: To help as many people as possible feel less alone, more hopeful about the future, and closer to Jesus Christ through the habit of praying the Rosary. Individually or in groups, with friends and strangers alike, through technology, in a single chorus. We'll pray, together. @Orabimus! Completely free & ad-free.

Sexual compatibility is one of the greatest lies of modern times. They’ll have you convinced it’s some sort of factual number you need to test before you commit to someone. But when people say this what they usually mean is — can you perform in some sort of fashion that would give me the most pleasure? It’s nothing to do with love, with devotion, with meaning, and it has everything to do with the body, with our flesh. Sexual intimacy is not something we can discover, it is only something we can build, and building intimacy is done by trust, by being exclusive and most of all by the lifelong covenant that is marriage. A good and healthy sexual relationship comes from fidelity, love and devotion, not the other way around. You cannot build a roof without first having a foundation. And so now that pleasure has become this new standard by which we now measure love and our desire for long term commitments it is no wonder that nobody ever stays for long. Pleasure is a terrible foundation, and that is because it was made to be the overflow, not the source.

Dying on the cross was reserved for criminals and enemies of the state because it was considered one of the most tortuous and humiliating ways to die. The crucifix often depicts the nails going through Jesus’ hands. This is not historically accurate. The hands were not rugged enough to support the weight of the body. The nails went through the wrists, where several major nerves are located. So if you can recall the extreme pain of hitting your funny bone gently on a wall (that’s because of a nerve), imagine what it feels like when a nail is driven through it. Another horrifying feature of dying on a cross is that you perish, on top of the traumatic injuries, through slow-motion suffocation. Because of the compression of the lungs caused by the awkward position, victims had to press onto their feet, into the nails and the injury there, temporarily lifting the body, creating enough momentarily relief to inhale and exhale. Eventually exhaustion would set in over the course of hours, and this movement became impossible. There are a few important things to note about the crucifixion. 1. Nothing about it makes rational sense. It does not make sense that God would murder his son. It does not make sense that his son was somehow paying the ultimate penalty in humanity’s place. The whole affair is fundamentally beyond our understanding. By the same token, Christians believe the moment altered the fabric of reality. This was a cosmic event. Because of what happened 2,000 years ago, *somehow* I am now free. 2. Other than the mysterious aspects of this, there are some practical earthly ways in which it is true. Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection became the best story ever told. It traveled across the ancient world with such virality that, just 20 years later, it had reached Caesar’s palace in Rome. Within 300, it was the Roman Empire’s official religion. The Western conception of morality — the one we all now take for granted — transformed, organizing around the inherent worth of every single human being instead of status, honor, social hierarchy, and brute strength. 3. Christ lived and died as a model of love. Whatever the practical earthly consequences, whatever the supernatural implications, the crucifixion is something to aspire to every single day of our short lives. It’s no easy feat to sacrifice yourself for another being. We have the opportunity 100 times a day, and we fail to take it, sometimes, literally all 100 of those times. The challenge and opportunity of dying on the cross is not purely a hypothetical one. What cross do you shoulder? How much pain will you accept for the benefit of another being, even and especially when they don’t deserve it? Even and especially when it isn’t rational to do so?

??? If someone came to you and was like ok the entire world is gonna get plunged into literally everyone being eternally tortured, OR you can undergo torture yourself for 24 hours to save them, are you telling me you'd refuse??

I can't help but to love Bryan so much for all he has been doing all these last few years I'm sure that everyone past an initial judgement or shock phase quickly learns to appreciate his genuine commitment to life, quality of life and research for a better lived life Godspeed!
Maintaining a clear mind is the hardest challenge of life. By default we settle into patterns. We do what's easily available and pattern match what others do. Getting swept away by the day which turn into years. Awaking one day and wondering what even happened to the time. I've found my morning routine is the best antidote to becoming the System. That is, unthinkingly becoming the default patterns that dominate your era. Each day, it's time without screens, messages, scrolling, interruptions, and social pressures. It's filled with silence, the discomfort of discipline and the open space of thought. There is something magical about the morning. A time when life is reborn each day. I find my greatest solace and joy in them. p.s. those of you with kids, I hear you. I have three children. Morning routines are practically impossible. Hang in there and even if it's a 15 minute routine, it can be a good practice to maintain sanity amid the chaos.

An ultra feminine lingerie brand that discovers the next generation of most beautiful models in the world? Is that something people would be interested in?
I am almost thinking you could actually pull a grassroots Victoria's Secret competitor yourself, Brittany Maybe that's the next iteration on Evie 🔥

Chastity is good because it is good, not because God promises you a husband, a happy marriage, and a life filled with wonders in exchange for practicing it. Promiscuity is wrong because it is wrong, not because every single promiscuous woman might one day end up divorced and miserable. Virtue is good for the sake of virtue not because of what we get out of it. And sin is bad for the sake of sin, even if we never get a single bad consequence out of it.

My most valuable post ever written: "How to accurately unveil someone's true morals?" Assess how and for what they use THE power they already have, by the ratio of metaphysical risk/reward for both parties involved. 99.99% accuracy.

If the risk greatly surpasses the reward of the interaction between the assessed party and who they have power upon, the assessed party scores *good moral points*

Not status, not money, not beauty. The world is so empty of genuine, intentful LOVE that being capable of it is the top most attractive trait that someone could express. If you want to judge how whole, complete and Godly your love is towards someone, check this diagram:

It's the first time I see ANYONE on X bring up Angela Merkel for what she did. If Europe was a serious continent she would have been hanged in a public square. A traitor and the reason why Europe is collapsing right now.

Stop blocking people, it's for losers.
Lex Fridman blocked every single person on this website and had the hardest fall off known to man. Joe Weisenthal just replied to my 72 follower replyguy who's too schizophrenic for me to engage with and he's hitting his golden era. Lesson there.

Few people know this but, the most polite way to address Gill in a public setting is first saying "Bonjour Hi" 😌
It's been a journey. Nice to have such a candid and relaxed convo in a beautiful setting.
