1984 understood that Dune is about grotesque, decadent aristocrats cosplaying as gods across 20,000 years of space feudalism. Villeneuve made a technically flawless movie, but he stripped out all the baroque madness and replaced it with an Apple Store aesthetic, gray brutalist concrete, and characters whispering in muted earth tones

German Lieutenant General Christian Freuding is going to become the next Inspecteur General of the German Armed Forces, the equivalent of a 4-Star General respecitively "Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff". Starting February 2027 he will replace General Carsten Breuer. For several years General Freuding has been head of the Ukraine Joint Situation Center at the German Ministry of Defence. His nomination as Germany's highest ranking soldier underlines Germany's priorities in security questions.

Själv anser jag att alla länder mår bäst av en generös dos etnonationalism. Statsnationalismen fungerar bra i ett land som USA som är uppbyggt av migranter, men i Sverige är det ett naivt önsketänkande, ungefär som integration.

Bae Systems Bofors presenterade några nyheter på Euronaval såsom Sea Tridon och Trinity C. Båda är varianter på 40mm akan L/70 mk4. Den första är en containerbaserad variant med sikte och den senare med inbyggda sensorer i kupolen. En kombination av de båda skulle nog passa KBV.
