The conversation is getting tired. Stop wasting time drafting contracts and make 15s rugby as financially rewarding and commercially attractive as 7s. Not everyone is playing purely for the love of the game, and there’s nothing wrong with that. If you love the game so much, build structures that make it sustainable for the people playing it. As things stand, rugby in Kenya is a foundational stepping stone to whatever path players eventually choose to take. We need to make it a destination, not just a stepping stone. For a contract to have that much autonomy over a sportsman’s life is to dictate his destination. If you’re going to tie someone down and take away their freedom to choose their own path, then you have a responsibility to compensate them for the journey you’re demanding they take. You cannot demand someone’s future without investing in it.

What Riggy G forgot to say is that we also cannot afford to be led by a coward, especially after the events of 2024. There’s no way the youths who braved live bullets to occupy Parliament can be led by one! Tuambiane ukweli bana!

Kenyan podcasters & YouTubers who position themselves as the alternative to mainstream media cannot have it both ways. When @johnallannamu challenges some of them on ethics and accountability, the defence suddenly becomes that they aren’t journalists. Fair enough, podcasting…

Imagine your kids are starving with no clothes, and as a father you buy a 65-inch TV so they can watch Cocomelon in HD. That's exactly what this government is doing.

This is the real William Ruto, and if you think you can afford another 5 years under his rule, think twice. Kenya can't afford another William Ruto reign. Imetosha. “William Ruto is worse than Moi.”

Apparently, in Kenya, you must first spend 30 years disappointing people before you're qualified to lead them. A newcomer with fresh ideas is considered inexperienced, while a veteran with a record of failure is called a statesman. What a system! 😂

A lot of men have tried to give a woman the life she never had, only to discover why nobody else could give it to her. Sometimes, the problem was never the men before you.

Looks like yesterday.
Not yet Uhuru. This is still a colonial system.

Imagine working your entire life to pay taxes that make politicians, their families and their close associates billionaires while you struggle to afford basic necessities. Then, to make matters worse, you defend these same politicians online for free. As a young person, what exactly are you protecting? If a politician has a questionable record and nothing meaningful to show for their time in office, stop worshipping them. You are a citizen, not a political employee. Demand better!

Universities should really give alumni lifetime access to the library. We paid enough for tuition, the least you can do is let us keep reading.

Let's not get it twisted, after his loss in 2027, Ruto will not be allowed to retire peacefully. We will jail him. He has to pay for his atrocities in bringing a whole nation to a standstill. Dig it!

Sifuna: We will run a country governed by the rule of law. Ruto: Huna akili. Which country is run like that? Sifuna: A 12-floor block makes no sense in a village set up where lifestyles are rural and chickens and other domestic animals dwell side by side with people. Besides, these houses have no social amenities. Ruto: Wewe ni fala baanaa! Sifuna: We will scrap the Housing Levy, seal wastage in government, block State House from consuming billions in mandazi and draw a balanced budget within 15 months, so that we return money to the pockets of ordinary citizens. Ruto: Mr Empty! Mr Shiny things! Mr 40! Sifuna: I swear to you that I will never send the police to kill your children! If you build beautiful roads and magnificent stadia, how do they benefit Rex Masai and Albert Ojwang, whom you have murdered in cold blood? We must build these shiny things in a just, free and democratic atmosphere where all countrymen can enjoy them ALIVE. Ruto: Wewe Mr Extortionist! Governors wanakulilia! Sifuna: OK, so can these alleged Governors now come forward and make the accusations themselves? Ruto: Abujubujubuju! Sifuna: The success of SHA can not be measured by the number of people registered on it, but by the quality of services it offers and availability of these services to the most vulnerable. Ruto: Umetumwa na sponsor! Uko down! Uko down banaa! Sifuna: If you are distributing employment letters to your friends at State House, the rest of the country that you have marginalised has a legitimate responsibility to send you home and install a government that will accord EQUITABLE opportunities to all and reset the nation away from your kleptocracy. Ruto: This can't be you speaking! It must be Uhuru Kenyatta! Previously on this show, Ruto had incessantly said "Sifuna hana agenda". But as we can see, Sifuna actually drops snippets of his governance agenda and policy positions daily, while Ruto rants angrily, shouts on the microphone and sounds like a broken 1982 Sanyo Cassette player. Ruto ako down kama mchanga ya kaburi.
