The Smithsonian does not belong to the President, to the Administration, or to any politician. It belongs to the American people.
Period.
We’re here today to say Hands Off the Smithsonian!

The US-Venezuela oil agreement "seems closer to an opaque privatization of the country's oil wealth — one whose gains are unlikely to be distributed across Venezuela."

Tomorrow, Salvadoran TPS expires unless the Department of Homeland Security acts. 170,000 vetted Salvadoran TPS holders—and the 277,000 U.S. citizens, including 150,000 children, who live with them—could see their families torn apart.
Proud to stand with @NTPSAlliance, @CARECENLA, @AlianzaAmericas, @NDLON, @FWD_us, SEIU, and @IUPAT. Our message is clear: Renew TPS for El Salvador.

Rubio told Congress, “No children are dying on my watch.”
There's a pattern of reporting showing that Rubio’s illegal dismantling of USAID and cuts to foreign aid have indeed led to children dying.
Slashing lifesaving aid is a betrayal of America’s values and leadership.

.@rep_jackson is right. Back in April, 47 Senators voted to say as much - that the blockade was a war powers violation. There's a Cuba WPR introduced in the House, and they should force a vote on it as soon as the recess is over. Cubans can't wait.

Cancer Nation is excited to share that Rep. Jonathan Jackson (IL-1) has joined as the newest cosponsor of H.R. 8839, the Lainie Jones Comprehensive Cancer Survivorship Act of 2026.
Every new cosponsor brings us one step closer to ensuring people living with, through, and beyond cancer have access to stronger survivorship care, better care coordination, and the support they need long after treatment ends.
Thank you to Rep. Jackson for supporting cancer survivors nationwide. Advocacy works and we're grateful to everyone who continues to help build momentum for this important legislation.
