Trump is gonna be so pissed off about this. He’s probably going to bomb another few countries.

Reform are now third in the polls, behind the Tories. Behind the actual Tories. That's like losing a sprint to a bloke who's been declared clinically dead for two years.

🔴 “Ministers must remain loyal to PM on Brexit or leave the cabinet.”
That tells us Westminster now expects a decision serious enough to trigger collective responsibility.
The Times reports that @AndyBurnham is expected to require cabinet ministers to support whatever closer-EU position he ultimately adopts.
Angela Rayner says nothing should be off the table and expects the eventual policy to be put to voters, while ministers themselves remain divided over how far Britain should move back towards Europe. (The Times)
That makes 20 November increasingly consequential.
The UK-EU summit in Brussels is now the point around which Burnham has promised to set out the options for Britain’s long-term relationship with Europe.
What emerges could be:
a menu of options for national debate;
a preferred Government destination;
or an explicit commitment to remove Labour’s inherited Brexit red lines.

Re-upping this Makerfield focus group from last week in light of headlines around PM re-opening convo on EU. I thought he’d get a Brexit backlash. But my big surprise in group was that nearly all these leave voters had regret & open to PM’s look again

Nearly 100 days into Andy Burnham's premiership, @BethRigby returns to Makerfield - the constituency that propelled him into No 10 - to ask whether the goodwill that carried him to victory is holding.

🚨 BREAKING: Ontario Premier Doug Ford just canceled Elon Musk’s Starlink contract and banned all U.S. companies from government contracts in response to Trump’s economic war with Canada.
“It’s done, it’s gone,” Ford said. “We won’t award contracts to people who enable and encourage economic attacks on our province and our country.”
And just to be clear: “They only have President Trump to blame.”
So Trump starts a trade war, and now American businesses are getting locked out of Canada. This isn’t “tough negotiating”—this is our closest ally shutting the door on us while Trump pretends he’s “winning.”
MAGA wanted an economic war? Well, they just got one. And it’s American companies and workers who are about to feel the pain.

The video is from Doug Ford's March 2025 press conference announcing the Starlink contract cancellation and US procurement ban amid 2025 tariff disputes, not a recent event; reports confirm it as a past decision.

Is Trump’s iron hold over America disappearing? Are decent Americans fed up with his pro-Putin policies? With Witkoff & Kushner’s useless ‘diplomacy’? Hegseth’s public executions? Vance’s ‘culture wars’? We most earnestly hope so.
The most important thing today is that Starlink and Starshield operations have been restored to the speeds we had before the restrictions. The speeds are now where they need to be. The restoration began overnight, and by this morning, speeds were already sufficient. This matters: for our frontline logistics, for defending Ukraine against jet-powered “shaheds.”
I thank all Americans and all our partners who took this seriously and truly helped – members of Congress, senators, all the media, the State Department, and the President. Protecting lives matters.

Congratulations, President @LulaOficial, on your re-election in Brazil.
The relationship between Canada and Brazil has flourished under our partnership. Let’s seize this opportunity to make it even stronger, together — to create major new trade opportunities, protect the environment, and build greater prosperity for both our peoples.

Why is Piers Morgan demanding Meghan report her own father to the police, while he completely protects his friend Sarah Ferguson from any questions about Jeffrey Epstein?
He did not blame Beatrice or Eugenie for the actions of their parents, yet he holds Meghan accountable for a family she does not even speak to.
Meghan has not uttered your name in years, Piers. She has completely moved on, but you are still utterly obsessed with a woman who ghosted you almost a decade ago.

Mitch McConnell has just delivered a warning Trump cannot afford to ignore.
In The Wall Street Journal, the veteran Republican senator warned that Trump’s continued submission to Putin could jeopardise his entire legislative agenda.
McConnell calls Trump’s Russia policy strategically naive and morally bankrupt. More importantly, he signals that Republican senators may withhold their support unless Trump changes course.
This is no longer merely about Ukraine. It is about whether Republicans will allow an American president to keep rewarding a Russian dictator while undermining America’s allies.
For once, Trump may discover that Congress has a spine.
