Pol pot is part of history, so is Idi Amin and Hitler... It doesn't stop them from being wrong then as well as now... My original post was in fact, to point out that no one's hands are clean in the Slave Trade... Hence my inclusion of those involved in the Irish Slave Trade of which Mitchel was one. Irish Republicans (IRA), where I come from, would have you believe that Ireland wasn't involved in any capacity.... Hence my post... But what is wrong is still wrong...

It's not offensive because it's the same moral and ethical argument... Those bombings and killings were wrong when they occurred... And they would have been equally wrong 200 years ago... Just like modern-day slavery... Or slavery back then...

There are several damning revelations here but perhaps the most shocking is that BBC publicists REFUSED to promote a film about October 7. None were disciplined. A non-BBC employee was then employed to promote the film - even though BBC employees were being paid to do this.

A reminder The IRA murderers watched him place the baby in a carry cot on the back seat of his car. They waited till he got in the drivers seat then opened fire from behind the vehicle in the full knowledge that the bullets would pass through the baby before killing her dad. There are scum in this world who think the IRA were freedom fighters. They were cold blooded killers
