This is now available. It's the most comprehensive collection of Nigerian treatment guidelines and covers 270 medical conditions. Can be used to build RAG pipelines or to validate your health AI application. You can access it here:
I now have about 270 medical conditions cleaned and clinicaly validated based on the Nigerian Standard Treatment Guidelines. I believe they can be used for benchmarking, model fine-tuning, etc. Will be making it publicly available soon.

When you fall sick at home in Nigeria, your only options shouldnโ€™t be a 5-hour hospital queue or self-medicating at a local chemist with no medical training. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ For months, @evidencechecked, @Doctware @KunnujiC and I have been building @docarion_hq to get you in front of a licensed doctor in under 10 minutes: โฑ๏ธ 1 min: Set up your account once for life ๐Ÿ’ฌ 4 mins: Quick AI symptom check-in (English, Pidgin, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo) ๐Ÿ‘จโ€โš•๏ธ < 5 mins: Consult a real doctor & get your prescription across 200,000+ care points Weโ€™re representing in the @CerebralValley ร— @AIatMeta Global AI Hackathon (with @basetenco & @modal_labs)! Surprisingly true. It's amazing how many products have no evaluation framework at all.
Replying to @rutherfordml
Agreed, and the evaluation half is where most products are thinnest. A workflow design can be reviewed on paper. An eval has to keep running after deployment, on real cases, with failures routed back to a named clinician who can act on them.

As a doctor, the moat is no longer in building, as AI agents can build anything these days. The moat is in designing the workflows and evaluating them properly.
Evals are the most important part of any clinical AI product I'm working on. This is a view of the eval metrics for Housejob app, with a combination of AI-as-a-judge and human clinician review.

Most medical students face one major challenge. Thereโ€™s a mountain of topics to cover, lots of facts to remember, exams that are always around the corner and yet, not enough time to prepare efficiently. teachmemedicine.app has come to bridge that gap. Imagine an app that helps you study not just longer, but smarter. With it, you can read a topic either from your lecture slides or with the appโ€™s inbuilt AI, learn it, and teach what youโ€™ve learned. Whether youโ€™re a 200-level student or a finalist in 600 level; whether youโ€™re preparing for your school MB exams or USMLE prep, Teach Me Medicine helps you remember more with less struggle.

Gemini is a much better companion to converse with than ChatGPT. Also, I hate those follow-up questions ChatGPT asks at the end of every conversation. It's almost like they prioritize engagement over quality.

In low-resource areas there's also the infrastructure problem which makes everything else difficult.
healthcare on one level is a compute and data problem it's also a empathy/person problem. The issue is we haven't build the right incentives to solve the compute and data problem, which will unlock our resources to solve the human element

The Diana Award was established in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, to recognise young people creating sustained social change. Princess Diana was remembered not merely for her position, but for how she used it. She crossed social boundaries, moved towards people others overlooked and made those experiencing illness, exclusion or hardship feel seen. Her compassion was not distant. It was personal, courageous and practical. Long before I understood the significance of her example, I had already encountered those qualities in my mother. I watched her notice people. I watched her care, give and serve without needing recognition. Through her, I learnt that leadership is not primarily about occupying an important position. It is about recognising the humanity in others and using what you have to make their lives better. She was my first model of compassionate leadership. My story began in Ondo State. I did not come from a bad background, but I came from an environment that could easily have limited how far I imagined life could go. While managing a community pharmacy, I encountered people who arrived worried, confused or in pain. I saw how the right information and appropriate care could restore hope. That experience planted a conviction: Healthcare should be easier to understand, and young people should be equipped to solve the problems around them. That conviction became @eohealthhub. Through ViHLERT, we trained 415 medical students from over 30 medical schools in our first edition. In 2026, the programme attracted over 800 applicants from more than 24 universities. Through @MentorMatrix_N and Publish to Greatness, we are also creating pathways for mentorship, research, leadership development and opportunity. While studying medicine at @Babcock_Univ, I became the 11th President of the Babcock University Association of Medical Students (BUAMS) and founded its first Clinical and Scientific Conference. Today, work that began quietly has received global recognition. But this ward is not permission to relax. It is a responsibility to serve more people, strengthen the institutions we are building and continue developing practical solutions for better healthcare in Africa. To every young person who feels limited by where they started: Your beginning may describe you, but it does not have the authority to define everything you can become. Use what is in your hands. Leadership begins with usefulness, not titles. I am deeply grateful to parents, guardians, friends, nominators, mentors, teams and everyone who has carried this journey with me. Above everything else, I give all the glory to God. What looked like rejection became redirection. What began quietly has reached the world. There is more. #2026DianaAward

I love how AI allows me explore my quirky side interests without having to spend hours reading a book. The other day I had a long interesting conversation with ChatGPT on how the national grid system works. Today it was about aviation safety systems.

Today, Iโ€™m releasing the Nigeria legal Corpus, a cleaned and structured dataset for information retrieval, RAG, semantic search, and legal NLP. It currently covers the 1999 Constitution, Electoral Act, Criminal Code Act, and Lagos Tenancy Law. Links in cs
Nigerian legal information is spread across different documents and sources. Finding the right provision shouldn't mean searching through them one by one. So I built a curated corpus of Nigerian legal texts to make legal information more accessible through AI

Many Nigerian doctors I've spoken with admit they only truly understood pathology when they started studying for the USMLE. Med school pathology was a blur of cramming, struggling to get 50 and scale through. The problem is that scaling through means you have a shaky foundation through the final years of medical school and struggle more than you need to with Medicine and Surgery and all the subspecialties. So we're taking everything we've learnt about how students learn and building an all-in-one tool that gives you the most bang for your buck with limited time and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Our goal with patandfam is to create a comprehensive learning platform that reduces the anxiety of your 2nd MB exams while giving you just the right depth of understanding you need to move through your clinical years with confidence. pat and fam is coming ๐Ÿš€ patandfam.com

โ€œWhy are doctors burned out?โ€ 'Cos doctors can be cross examined years later over a comma in their clinical notes, written in the middle of a busy clinic day while juggling multiple patients and life or death decisions. This is why we built @AskAwaDoc CDST; to support clinicians with smarter clinical decisions, reduce cognitive burden, and help them practise with greater confidence.

The headline of this news story is inaccurate and misleading. WHO has not declared Nigeria Ebolaโ€‘free. Nigeria currently has no confirmed case of Ebola following the medical evacuation of the index patient to Switzerland. Health officials are closely monitoring 52 contacts who may have been exposed. Under the International Health Regulations, a country can only be declared Ebolaโ€‘free after a 42โ€‘day countdown following the last confirmed case testing negative twice for the virus or, in this situation, after the evacuation of the confirmed case. This period is then followed by heightened surveillance. WHO requests that this headline be retracted and corrected. It is an inaccurate interpretation of the X post made by the WHO Regional Director for Africa. @WHOAFRO

Claude does not know when to do a Kenburn effect or kinetic typography effect in a motion video. Claude does not understand hicks law , or user journey. Claude only gives the illusion of confidence to those who do not know anything and are easily impressed by basics.

People are coming to the painful realisation that for most tasks, outcome matters more than the process. Most people just want a nice motion design and don't care about all these.
