I know this is going to be a long thread, but here's what I really think of Bruno Fernandes.
I say a lot of things in the heat of the moment, especially when United are frustrating me, but this is my honest take on him as a player and what I think makes him so special.

funny bit is he'll go there, have a decent little run, and utd fans will suddenly discover that we sold a generational talent bc he's better than the 12m pound scrub ineos replace him with

Thierno Barry is the most obvious “buy stocks now”
Elite physical tools (3rd most aerial duels won in the league, 4th fastest top speed), for one thing.
Most strikers need a bunch of shit to go their way to get a monster goal tally… he just needs one thing to change.
🗣️ “You cannot miss a big chance unless you have the movement, anticipation, and presence to get into those positions in the first place.”
🔵 Thierno Barry currently leads the Premier League with 10 big chances missed this season - twice as many as anyone else. Is that actually good news for Everton?

There’s a reason you don’t see PSG, Como’s best highlights vs low blocks / defences

United had a 175% lead over Liverpool when Fergie retired. Now they are ahead of us.
Our revenue grew by a modest 150% in the past decade. Liverpool grew by 275%. This is significant because football inflation averages around 120% in the past 10 years. We are barely keeping up while Liverpool are soaring.
This chart does not take into account our disastrous 2025-26 season when we finished 15th.

Green lost interest in taking the IPL seriously after MI betrayed him. He was so happy in Rohit’s MI team in 2023.

One of our worst players talking like this btw. Shouldn’t even be a starter.
🚨🎙️| Raphinha: “If Ancelotti wants to count on me, he knows he has to manage my minutes. He knows what he needs to do as a coach, and we’ve spoken about it.” #fcblive 🇧🇷👀
Like ffs he has @Ben_Mattinson_ as a scout for him. Look through that guys account you can only imagine the players / profiles they are going through every summer 🤣.
Cesc isn’t going anywhere

I wonder why some think Fabregas is gonna leave Como anytime soon
Cesc has an ownership that has him as their priority, elite scouts, very talented and balanced team with potential superstars, a lot of financial support. He can definitely turn it into an elite club

Liverpool going from having arguably the best full-back pairing in world football over the last decade to having no “real” right-back and Tsimikas starting games on the left is quite the contrast.

His own words not even two months ago, honestly such a fraud & this literally proves everything he does & has done is for clicks, he’s said himself it woukd have no impact but has still posted it. 👍
To all my fellow United fans who love Ruben, this is what happens when you give a manager the keys to recruitment.
We could've ended up with another Højlund and Antony instead of Sesko and Mbeumo.

🇨🇲 Mahamadou Nagida is the TRUTH
He's got everything you want in a modern full back - PnP, technique, close control, high IQ, 1v1 duelling, creativity, etc
But what separates him is his elite passing bag and his ballstriking tech. Some of the passes in this comp reminded me of Trent Alexander Arnold ffs and that is high praise
We have to pull the trigger in January, not because we're in desperate need for a LB. But because if we don't, PSG, Bayern or Chelsea are gonna scoop him up in the summer
He is the closest thing to Nuno Mendes out there and I want him at the carpet

I think it’s interesting to back up from this even more for additional perspective.
I asked ChatGPT to add Chelsea Arsenal city and spurs to this graph.
To a degree, increased money being present in the PL is just going to factually increase revenue and the baseline for clubs.
The club still makes plenty of money, especially when in Europe, and is competitive on that front.
That said, if the club had some real and sustained performance results, I think you would see big upticks like you see with post Covid Arsenal that would’ve separated us from the pack more revenue wise. But realistically, MUFC is still generating massive money, though you could argue (correctly imo), that there is lots of unrealized potential due to underperformance.
But we can see that things like better performance and newer stadiums both tend to lead to increased revenues. However, premier league broadcasting and commercial value is a MASSIVE component of revenue for these clubs.
The debt is a completely separate issue from this fwiw.
And I don’t doubt city’s numbers being inflated, again a separate issue, but we see similar trends with their revenue to some of the other clubs present.

He looked absolutely unfazed by the movement, scorecard pressure and whatever chaos was happening at the other end.
Looked so comfortable against the pacers led by Henry but then threw it away when conditions got easier. JUST THE STORY OF HIS ENTIRE CAREER. WHAT IF
