in this promised land, do we get blasted in the eyes by flashing icons and constant pop-ups and up cells at every click?
wow the guy who led product for Snapchat from 2015-2022 and then Discord from 2022-2026 is taking over at twitter? jesus fucking christ it has literally never been more over. like hiring elizabeth holmes to run neuralink.
I’m joining the team at @X to lead Product.
I am a huge believer in @SpaceX's mission to extend human consciousness to the stars, so it’s time to make shitposting multiplanetary.
X is the best way to find out what’s happening in the world right now and talk about it. The team has been working tirelessly to make X a better place and product for the people who love it, and many have noticed the recent momentum. My goal is to help accelerate that momentum for our community, new users, and businesses globally by continuing to make this product beautiful and useful.
We are twenty years in, but it truly feels like X’s next chapter will be our greatest. I look forward to your ideas and feedback; I’m sure the replies will be measured and magnanimous.

picked up a 2024 GMC Sierra Denali "tricked out" after my 2012 Land Rover LR4 just got too old. it's wild that the top tier GMC truck that's 12 years newer still doesn't sport features that were standard on a Land Rover 12 years before.
US automakers are cooked. If I wasn't looking for great gas mileage and the 3.0 diesel, I wouldn't have bought it.

AirBNB had its place and time, but it’s over. Had a lovely stay at a Hyatt last night, left trash in the can, towels on the ground, and am confident my corporate overlord isn’t going to light me up with a guest review video. A professional exchange of goods for money. The AirBNB hosts did this to themselves and the platform lost control long ago.
its just bonkers the new policy @airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?
