Sorry but this is beautiful
🇺🇸 In Miami, two inmates on murder charges who never met face-to-face had a baby through an AIR DUCT.
Daisy (29) and Joan (23) fell in love via the vent between floors. He wrapped his semen in plastic, tied it to a rope made of torn bedsheets, and lowered it down.
She pulled it up and self-inseminated with a store-bought applicator.
In 2024, she gave birth to a baby girl with DNA confirming it’s their child.
The jail is currently investigation this shocking security lapse.

One place I used to frequent was a fast food place called Steams. I’d buy a coffee and sit there and watch people, and eventually get up the courage to ask someone if I could take their picture. This was 1975 and early 1976. When people asked what’s it for I’d say “it’s just for me. I’m a photographer”. Which seemed to satisfy them, and we’d get on with it.
Some of these are in “Under Vancouver 1972-1982”. Link to books in bio.

Corbusier’s Chapel Notre Dame du Haut. The way those sporadically placed stained windows are set deep within the walls and how it filters the light is so sick.

we are so goddamn lucky to have our eyes witness something like that. a guy with a nice camera, the foresight, and the modern internet to carry that vision as it was seen right into our laps. more than 100 billion people lived and died without seeing that once, ever
