Tomorrow, our boy flies in from Utah to be with us as we release our old girl across the Rainbow Bridge on Sunday. I humbly ask for prayers and good wishes for us; she's been a part of our family for almost 15 1/2 years, and this will be impossibly difficult. Thank you all.

Bad news is we lost senate seats that won't be winnable for six years. Gut wrenching.
Here's the good news: in terms of electoral prospects, this is super easy to fix. Trivial, even:
1. End the tariffs now. If the Admin wants to make a case for a few targeted ones for bad actors, fine. But the broad tariffs must stop.
2. Either go balls to the wall on Iran to finish the regime, or pull out of the war. Do more limited stuff like "midnight hammer" if Iran tries to rebuild its nuclear program, but that's it.
3. Do not back off the stuff that IS going well, and a lot is. Crime at record lows. Border under control. ATF and 2nd Amendment Section doing great work. Government employment reduced. Etc. Do not learn the wrong lessons from what was an inflation-related election blowout and undermine the things that are working.
4. Finally, and this one may be the hardest for Trump: limit the stupid distractions.

Like @CrownMaybe, I do not think this is wrong.

Longtime listeners to my show know that 2020 made my wife and I realize how soft and weak we've become as a nation. As a society, we want comfort, amenities and convenience. For the most part, the opulence of living in America has conditioned us for instant gratification with no ability to deal with even a modicum of adversity. As a result, we have, by and large, become weak and sedentary. We aren't the rough and tumble explorers and innovators that we once were. We have become the "beautiful ones" in that rat experiment, more concerned with how we look and how we are perceived. So, when a segment of our society knows we are primed for promises of an even easier existence, we become easy to control. What we are seeing, unfortunately, is what happens when people believe life should never be difficult. We cannot handle a bump in the road or even short-term pain. Instead, we run to whomever is promising to make even mild irritants in our lives disappear.
That's why we became homesteaders. It's why we've been planning for the storm. Life isn't supposed to be without risk or peril. As humans, we need to be constantly challenged to evolve and grow. When that challenge is removed, we regress and weaken and the weaker we become the more susceptible we are to being manipulated and abused.
Personally, I don't know what will happen next. A lot of things have already been put into motion and non-stop obstructionism and America-Last policies may end up back-firing on the Marxists and Communists who are relishing their chance at another Bolshevik revolution. I know one thing for certain, I am not going to stop fighting to save our Constitutional Republic from the forces who hate it's very existence. I love my country too much. And I know many others feel the same.
And that is a very encouraging thought, indeed.

Ron DeSantis is the only Republican who delivered tonight. There was a blue tsunami across the country except for the state he spent 8 years turning ruby red. Objectively the most effective Republican in elected office. Consistent winner for 8 years straight.

Trump’s policies are popular, the administration’s executions of those policies are not.
Replying to @bmet7 @emzanotti
In my county, (100% reported), votes had 55-60% of the vote in every contested race.
But we also voted in favor of constitutional amendments for Voter ID (71%), cutting taxes (74%), and a limit on local property taxes (68%).

It never swung back in California did it. Nor Oregon or Washington. Once engrained its permanent and they institutionalize themselves to one party rule. Its here and it wont go away. Game over.
This is the goal, and we just fumbled the ball on our own 10 yard line. And the refs are on their team.

The pendulum won’t swing back this time. The southern border will be wide open and they’ll give amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. Abortion has crossed the threshold of just plan murder. Criminals have more rights than victims. They’ll tax the producers to death. Their intention is to destroy america and they will accomplish their goals bc voters are stupid.

And this time there will be no Texas governor sending busses north to blue states. They are going to be made to feel warm and comfy in Texas.

You wouldn’t pass legislation that 80% of the country wanted.
There was no obstruction, you were a majority.
WERE.
I’m deeply saddened by our many losses, but glad you will no longer be in charge.

Dems will get 55 Senate seats and 250+ House seats. Looking at the Senate map and considering such a massive House margin, it is very unlikely Republicans will recapture the Congress in 2028. Might not have a shot at Senate control until 2032.

If you believe this is true, (1) it is a failure of Trump to not deal with this and (2) you will learn absolutely nothing because this is mythology.
Trump squandered a multi-racial, multi-ethnic coalition that got him the majority vote 2 years ago.
Democrats imported millions of foreigners, handed them a bunch of free shit, and then registered them to vote
They have been planning this for years
We saw the results of this scheme tonight.
If we ever want to win again we need deportations and denaturalizations ramped up on steroids or our country will forever be lost to the communists.

The debate will be whether this election is a realignment or a reaction.
It's likely a reaction, just as '20, '22 and '24 were. With the huge "float" of unaffiliated voters that grows by the day, "realignment" is unlikely until a party stops governing from its extreme flank.

Show this to all moderate friends. All your rural friends. This is the fuck stick you voted for. He wears a communist uniform and thinks you all deserved 9/11. His great grandparents were first cousins. I think it might have affected his IQ. But Democrats think he’s hot shit. He wants blood in the streets. And he’s not kidding.

🚨 My daughter is now telling me the worst case scenario is that Democrats could possibly attain a veto proof majority in the Senate. We're not out of the woods yet.
Pam D retweeted
There will be hundreds of articles analyzing all of this drawing all sorts of conclusions about what this means for future elections, with the triumphant side predicting a "permanent majority."
Just like 2 years ago.
The only "permanent majority" on the horizon is independents.

Lucky me, I lost everything last January in a fire, so don’t have any money to lose in the market tomorrow LOL

As Election Day comes to a close, I find myself resting in a truth that is infinitely more important than who wins or loses tonight. And so much more comforting…
God sets up kings, and He deposes them. (Daniel 2:21)
Not a single earthly authority rises or falls outside of His sovereign knowledge and providence.
And while elections matter, while policies have consequences, and while I certainly have my own convictions (which, as anyone who has had the misfortune of encountering me for more than five minutes can attest, I have never once suffered from an inability to express my own opinions lol)……..none of those things changes the eternal truth that God is on His throne.
He was sovereign yesterday. He is sovereign today. And He will be sovereign tomorrow, regardless of whose name is followed by the word “winner.”
My hope has never belonged in a politician, a political party, or an election result. My hope belongs to the One who holds all of human history in His hands. The One who created me, and all of you.
And regardless of political affiliation, regardless of which side of the aisle you stand on, regardless of whom you voted for or what you believe about the direction of this nation, one day every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. (Philippians 2:10–11)
This is an inescapable fact.
Republican. Democrat. Independent. Conservative. Liberal. The most powerful rulers on earth and the most ordinary among us.
Every. Single. One.
There will be no political parties in that moment. No campaigns. No ballots. No debates about who ought to rule.
Because every knee will bow before the One who has always ruled.
Kingdoms rise. Empires fall. Presidents come and go. Nations change, and the world trembles…but the throne of Heaven has never once been up for election.
The One who sits upon it has never lost control.
So tonight, whatever the outcome, I will rest in that.
My King is still my King. And His reign has no end.

Hey @RepRobertGarcia, “LAWYER UP”?
You named me in an official congressional letter over my Letitia James mortgage fraud investigation. You dragged up my criminal past and demanded records of my communications.
I challenged you to haul my ass before Congress, put me under oath, and question me publicly.
You went silent.
I’m still waiting, Congressman.
I’ve got the mortgage documents, sworn statements, and financial disclosures. You can question me about every damn one of them.
So quit playing tough guy on X.
Subpoena me. I dare you.
