"Free movement had allowed, in my view, the undercutting of wages. Some people debate this, but I saw evidence of it. Where people were brought in by agencies from other European countries and it was used to bring wages down"

today I used a cool new coding agent, the General Intelligence Tool, to clone Blender! here's the command I ran:
git clone https://github. com/blender/blender
Once again these people are bitching about LLM use within their own project without addressing Linus’ stance on it and what he’s doing with the kernel. C’mon guys I want to see *that* holy war play out!
Multiple Debian developers have announced that they will be leaving Debian, or no longer maintaining Debian packages, following Debian’s use of LLM’s in scanning and evaluate new package uploads.
“how is this not "Debian endorses the use of generative AI"?”
“For now, I will no longer be uploading to the #Debian NEW queue.”
“likewise. I'm about to orphan everything I still maintain in Debian that I don't *have* to maintain”

In Cyberpunk AI becomes so powerful the Internet has to be ran on local networks cause the rogue AI’s mutated into dangerous entities so humanity has to trap them within The Blackwall.
Which is a AI barrier that protects our world from the old network. I guarantee you this will be the plot of the next game.
Seems like that’s where we’re headed tbh in real life too
it's frustrating coming into a debate in good faith only to realise 5-6 replies deep that only you are willing to actually wrangle with your preconceptions and the other party simply are not, for them what they're defending is holy script, even if it's purely a secular topic
that's not in reference to anything specific but just thinking back on a few interactions where the other party were so rigid in their position it was to the point of outright zealotry and dogma
hot take but if you're fundamentally unable to approach a debate in good faith then maybe that's more an issue with you and your position rather than the topic of debate or your opponents position? just a thought

Just to add, this isn't even a Rorschach test.
The vital clue is that your face is usually the same basic shade as your hands...
Hilarious. The use of fugly old Corporate Memphis spread exactly because of this tendency of idpol fanatics to faint with outrage at the drop of a hat.
Companies got more and more averse to depicting humans in case they were The Wrong Kind Of Human. (Because identity politics is not at all nihilistic or bleak.)
And we've now moved so far into Abstract Blob world that this bald man looking over his shoulder has been mistaken for (I presume) a veiled woman.
(Personally, I think it's actually Chairman Mao and a disgusting assault on Chinese communists. I'm OUTRAGED I tell you.)
Anyway, now that even the wibbly-wobbly blue-blob humans are causing outrage, maybe we can just get back to beautiful, artful illustration. It's been 10 goddam years since FB shunted us all into their manky old Alegria world. Let's move on.
