This is the beautiful Sophia Salma Khalifa. She is an Arab, a Muslim, and an Israeli. And she will show you why the accusations of apartheid in Israel are simply lies.
Everything the haters have ever told you about Israel is a lie. There was no Nakba. There is no occupation. There is no apartheid. Jews, Christians and Muslims live in peace in the land today. They never did in 1948.
Because in 1948, the Muslim Arabs didn’t want Israel or Jews to even exist. That’s why the Arabs rejected every single proposal and waged a genocidal war of annihilation against the Jews.
If you haven’t seen this, you should.

Dude’s been demonically compromised for a long time.
Not since Henry Ford has there been an American purveyor of mass Jew-hatred worse than Tucker Carlson.
Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. “Bibi calls Trump about it every day,” says an informed observer.
Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war.
To that end, he’s applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war they’ve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahu’s lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha.
The rest of America’s longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They won’t recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people.
And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final.
We’ve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten America’s nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called “battlefield nukes” easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now we’re on the brink of it.
Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he’s hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made.
They’re right, though it won’t be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making.
One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.

"Natural Induction: Spontaneous Adaptive Organisation without Natural Selection"
#evolution, #basalcognition, #physics
Abstract:
Evolution by natural selection is believed to be the only possible source of spontaneous adaptive organisation in the natural world. This places strict limits on the kinds of systems that can exhibit adaptation spontaneously, i.e., without design. Physical systems can show some properties relevant to adaptation without natural selection or design. (1) The relaxation, or local energy minimisation, of a physical system constitutes a natural form of optimisation insomuch as it finds locally optimal solutions to the frustrated forces acting on it or between its components. (2) When internal structure ‘gives way’ or accommodates a pattern of forcing on a system, this constitutes learning insomuch, as it can store, recall, and generalise past configurations. Both these effects are quite natural and general, but in themselves insufficient to constitute non-trivial adaptation. However, here we show that the recurrent interaction of physical optimisation and physical learning together results in significant spontaneous adaptive organisation. We call this adaptation by natural induction. The effect occurs in dynamical systems described by a network of viscoelastic connections subject to occasional disturbances. When the internal structure of such a system accommodates slowly across many disturbances and relaxations, it spontaneously learns to preferentially visit solutions of increasingly greater quality (exceptionally low energy). We show that adaptation by natural induction thus produces network organisations that improve problem-solving competency with experience (without supervised training or system-level reward). We note that the conditions for adaptation by natural induction, and its adaptive competency, are different from those of natural selection. We therefore suggest that natural selection is not the only possible source of spontaneous adaptive organisation in the natural world.

Just as a reminder, Sinwar deceived Israel into believing he wanted long-term quiet, and in return Israel was gradually easing up on Gaza, including allowing massive aid to flow into Gaza from Qatar and allowing tens of thousands of Gazans to work in Israel, with plans for a lot more.
Hamas could have actually done this for real, and over time lived peacefully and prosperously next to Israel.
But again, it was a ruse to cover up a longstanding plan to invade Israel, murder civilians, and hopefully stir an uprising in the West Bank and military intervention by Hezbollah and Iran, leading to Israel's defeat.
Actually, I shouldn't say just a reminder, because depending on what media sources you utilize, you may not be aware of any of that.

WHO IS WAJAHAT ALI? AND WHY IS HE THREATENING AMERICA WITH "FIRE" IF ABDUL EL SAYED LOSES?
I have been tracking Wajahat Ali for 23 years, ever since he first reached out to me as a young 20-something lawyer-playwright to pitch columns to the Daily Beast and other liberal media outlets.
Over this long game, he has embedded himself deep inside liberal Democratic politics, MSNBC, the New York Times and John Podesta and @neeratanden's Center for American Progress.
He is the symbolic political "monster" of the red-green aliance's Dr. Frankenstein (to mix just a few metaphors).
Wajahat Ali is a protege of Hatem Bazian, the academic at UC Berkeley who co-founded Students for Justice in Palestine and American Muslims for Palestine with one agenda: the destruction of the state of Israel.
This will interest you @shaunmmaguire:
Wajahat Ali is the son of immigrant felons from Pakistan who were found guilty of stealing MILLIONS of dollars from Microsoft as part of a transnational FBI investigation called OPERATION CYBERSTORM. They are out of jail now after serving years in prison.
The case was so big that then-FBI Director Robert Mueller himself appeared at the press conference.
Wajahat grew up in a life of luxury in Fremont, Calif., because of his parents' stolen wealth. I drove by his former house. Most Americans couldn't afford the life he knew. Wajahat has claimed his parents were the victims of "Islamophobia"
America's redemptive story means that a child wouldn't be held responsible for his parents' crimes but the threats in Wajahat's new post reveal that he is a man who isn't extending any form of redemption to his political enemies.
My reporting reveals that the Democratic Party is at this moment of threats expressed against it by a keyboard warrior called Wajahat Ali because the party fails to understand the dangers of placating the rabid anti-Israel demands of Linda Sarsour, Hatem Bazian, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Hasan Piker and the rest of the anti-semitic lobby that has one goal: "FREE PALESTINE" by replacing the state of Israel with a state called "Palestine."
Here is the link to Wajahat's parent's criminal case: justice.gov/archive/criminal…
Wajahat Ali is a prominent figure in my book WOKE ARMY because he is a leader in the Honor Brigade of the Woke Army, threatening and intimidating anyone who dares to defy the narratives of the status quo establishment Muslim groups of Muslims as victims and non-Muslims, Israel and Jews as oppressors.
Rabbi Kahane says the Land of Israel was given to the Jewish People by God, and that Muslims don’t believe that.
@grok does the Qu’ran disagree with that, or affirm it?

This episode is about where consciousness begins. Mark Solms @Mark_Solms, neuropsychologist and psychoanalyst at the University of Cape Town, joins to explain why he thinks it begins not in the cortex but in raw feeling from the upper brainstem. We discuss patients who lost REM sleep but kept dreaming, what that means for Freud’s wish theory, and children born without a cortex who still giggle and startle. He argues the hard problem was tackled from the wrong end, starting with visual perception instead of feeling. The conversation also covers dual-aspect monism, Markov blankets and the free energy principle, his attempt to engineer an artificial agent that feels, and why he thinks that at death the second law wins.

Should we listen to Planck's theory of consciousness?
Most of us, scientists included, see physics as an attempt to provide an objective description of the world independent of human subjectivity and consciousness.
Yet, Max Planck, one of major scientific figures of the twentieth century and the founder of quantum mechanics, stated as a result of his investigations and experiments: “I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness.”
Cosmologist, theoretical physicist Laura Mersini-Houghton, groundbreaking physicist Brian Greene, esteemed physics and philosophy writer Amanda Gefter and eliminative materialism pioneer Patricia Churchland debate Planck and the Consciousness Puzzle.
