Loving how competitive Nationals have been this year. The depth in Indian badminton is growing and it’s so exciting to watch. I honestly thought Unnati or Tanvi might take it far, but Cherry played fearless badminton today and Rakshith stepped up as well with solid badminton.
And Tanvi Patri… are we watching a future face of Indian badminton rise right in front of us? She trains next to me in Bangalore and I’ve always loved her game. Maybe because I see a little bit of myself in her. The way she plays with heart and with that smile 🙈💪

Heart goes out to Akarshi. A tough, tough loss. It looked like she played a shuttle that was actually going out at 20-19 and she had the complete upper hand at 20–20 point before conceding.
Tanvi, as always, played a stable, composed game.

Deeply saddened by the passing of Ande Sri garu - revered poet, renowned lyricist, and activist.
His voice gave Telangana its soul through “Jaya Jayahe Telangana” a song that became a symbol of identity, resilience, and collective pride.
In his passing, we have lost a cultural icon.
I extend my deepest condolences to his family, friends and admirers. May they find strength in this time of grief.

So proud and deeply grateful to share that the Assam Government and the wonderful people of Assam have named a stadium Lovlina Borgohain Sports Arena in my honor in Lakhimpur, Assam. 🙏
This is an international-level stadium with world-class facilities — from a cricket ground and football ground to a fully equipped indoor stadium and many other sports amenities. It is truly a dream sports complex for our athletes.
As a child, I had seen in Australia a stadium named after the legendary tennis player Rod Laver. I never imagined that one day something like this would happen in my own country — and that too in my own name.
and I honestly cannot express how happy and emotional I feel. This honor is beyond my dreams.
Thank you Hon’ble CM @himantabiswa Sir, thank you respected MLA @manabdeka Sir, and thank you to the beautiful people of Assam for considering me worthy of such a great recognition.

सीनेट चुनाव की माँग कर रहे युवाओं को रोकना यह दिखाता है कि सरकार शिक्षा के मंदिरों से लोकतंत्र को खत्म करना चाहती है। केंद्र सरकार का पहले सीनेट भंग करने का विवादित फैसला और अब छात्रों को डराना निंदनीय है!
