联邦立案：调查加州三学区离谱特权问卷
川普政府的教育部周一对加州三个学区立案调查：北蒙特雷县、帕洛阿托和旧金山联合学区。
调查由教育部学生隐私政策办公室发起，涉嫌违反《学生权利保护修正案》（PPRA）。按该法，学校在调查问卷涉及受保护信息前，必须通知家长并获得书面同意。
被指的问题出在必修的族裔研究课上。调查称，课上的“Wheel of Power/Privilege”（特权轮盘）和“Mapping My Identities”活动，要求学生透露性取向、性别认同、身心健康、家庭经济状况、种族、移民身份等信息，再根据这些信息给自己定一个“特权等级”。家长还指称，学区对查看族裔研究课程的要求不作回应，或只允许看部分内容。
教育部长麦克马洪表示，家长有权让孩子不参加这类调查。学生隐私政策办公室主任 Frank Miller 说，学生不应在家长不知情、未同意的情况下，被迫透露自己和家庭的隐私，更不该被放到一张意识形态的“特权量表”上去排名。

The calls for Eric Swalwell to resign are serious and should not be dismissed. When more than 50 former staffers publicly speak out, it raises major credibility and accountability concerns that deserve an independent investigation. These are allegations, not proven facts, but public officials should be held to a higher standard. Even if you’re a Dem who favors ACA7 as policy, it’s a bad idea. It will lose. It will alienate voters, especially Asian Americans. Any programs established under it will be overturned in court. The Trump Admin will use it to cut federal funding to the UC and CSU. There is no upside.

The 2026 version of ACA-7 has the unintended consequence of demeaning minority achievements. Institutionalizing preferential treatment carries the inherently insulting implication that individuals from certain demographic groups cannot compete or succeed on their own merits. Keeping Prop 209 strictly intact respects the inherent dignity, rigorous hard work, and genuine accomplishments of minority individuals, ensuring that their personal and professional successes are universally recognized as rightfully earned rather than the result of state interference. The 2026 version of ACA-7 will end up significantly increasing financial burdens on California taxpayers. Implementing and managing complex, race-conscious programs across the state requires extensive administrative resources.
