This is a call for your creativity! 🫵 Everyone seems to be so excited about HTML-in-Canvas, and understandably so. Have you seen all the impressive demos developers have been sharing? We've started collecting some examples: github.com/GoogleChromeLabs/… Add your own demos!🎨 🎉

Today is a big day for the Privacy Sandbox team. privacysandbox.com/intl/en_u… We announced that we’re proposing a new approach to Sandbox on the web that we believe works for the entire industry (publishers, devs, advertisers, etc.). We plan to prioritize user choice in order to support a competitive marketplace as we advance privacy-enhancing tech. And in case that wasn’t enough Sandbox news, our colleagues on the Ads team also published sell-side/buy-side results showing the current potential of the APIs. Buy-side: support.google.com/google-ad… Sell-side: support.google.com/admanager… As we said last week, we expect performance to continue to improve as adoption expands, and believe there is a significant opportunity for companies who are investing in privacy-preserving technologies. privacysandbox.com/news/lear… We know you have questions, but we wanted to announce this new path early as we understand this transition requires significant work. Looking forward to sharing more soon!

🔥 TIP: In @googlechrome you can select multiple tabs and manipulate those as a whole. 👉 Use SHIFT to select a range. 👉 Use CMD/CTRL to select several. Once selected move them around (even to a separate window) or hit CMD/CTRL+W to close them.

Strong agree with @mozilla. @Apple isn’t serious about supporting web browser or engine choice on iOS. Their strategy is overly restrictive, and won’t meaningfully lead to real choice for browser developers.

PA API (the protocol formerly known as FLEDGE) is live and winning ad auctions through Prebid and GAM. Time for publishers to start using it and for advertisers to push their DSPs to support it!
"This giant set of changes is happening... So we [Raptive] can now conduct auctions through prebid for Fledge...and that is good. Later pubs should just be able to make a simple prebid endpoint update to let Privacy Sandbox work in non-Google environments" - @pbannist at #OpsNY #privacysandbox

Over on the Chrome Extensions DevRel team we’ve just open sourced a new tool which can be used for testing the update flow of extensions: github.com/GoogleChromeLabs/… Super excited about this one, it’s something I’ve been finding useful even while the tool was being built 🙂
