It has officially been one year since I started my hardware arc!
One day I woke up and decided to commit to a new path and change my identity. I didn't know anything about electronics and in many ways still don't. I've learned everything by throwing myself into projects and figuring it out as I go.
This journey has taken me on so many tangents I can't even keep track of them all. While there is always more to be desired I am really happy with where I am at and hope to turn things up from here!
Thank you all for your constant support throughout this as I definitely wouldn't be here without you. I can't wait to see where the next year takes me and the projects I will get in to!
If you want to get into hardware, just do it, there is never a perfect time, it will always be confusing and frustrating, but just keep pushing and you will be glad you did!

I made a lung simulator machine to keep an air quality sensor inside
This can accurately measure the quality of the inhaled air. Air is inhaled and exhaled through the nose.
This is for validating a product we’re developing.

When life hands you an 11mm Allen head bolt that you lack the wrench for, grind a hex on a grade 8 bolt with the bench grinder, file it true, and case harden the tip.

I’ve got the instant-on voice agent, two way, interruptible audio built and can be activated with the iPhone Action button! There’s a streaming server that handles the connection and then it routes to a STT model, then a reasoning model, then responds to you with a TTS. It’s pretty quick!

To me artists that do not make their artpieces themselves are not real artists.
