Apparently Ramaphosa briefly stumbled in Egypt by announcing that SA needed $90-trillion to complete the transition away from coal, a slip that reminded some of another leader who had trouble with numbers. Even so. The real number is about $90bn (depending on the exchange rate).

Maybe the answer to SA's energy woe's is a "decentralised" approach using Small Modular Reactors (iaea.org/newscenter/news/wha….) The only asset worth keeping is Eskom's distribution network... I still believe that the ANC prematurely cancelled the Pebble Bed Modular reactor program..

@Eskom_SA is operationally delinquent. It is unable to predict its load shedding program for more than a few hours at a time. There are constant delays in returning units to service. The quantum of unplanned outages never improves. The ANC policies of cadre deploy, BBBEE and AA?

But Anton, you say they are legitimate. Why are you so worried ke manje, because she is just doing her job, investigating a complaint laid 🤷🏾‍♂️. If they are legitimate, then the investigation report will indicate that unless you know that she may find something not so legitimate😏
